Put simply, Hoover's own website gives completely conflicting information as to what type of brush to use in the various models of H-Free hoover. At least there's no hassle when returning this to Amazon.You may be better buying https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0866PZ3DK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details which gets you the whole brushhead plus brush (but it's twice the price).

Original in hoover had a proper little hinge at the fitting end, this one only bends over and will not clip in to fix
