Got my old Malvern Star bike out of the garage three months ago and started riding every morning as part of a plan to loose weight and avoid type two diabetes. I've succeeded but my 63 year old bum has been pretty sore as a result - my bike had a long and narrow saddle whereas I needed something wider and shorter. So I bought this one and have just taken it for a test drive. What a difference! I am now sitting on the fleshy bits rather than on my bones. No chafing either - and I don't use fancy cycling gear - just a helmet and ordinary shorts and a t-shirt. The saddle is well made - no fitting instructions but fitting it was simplicity itself. So thoroughly recommended and good value.

Really impressed with my new seat. Gave it a decent 30k test ride today (sun 2nd Aug). The difference between my new seat and the standard fitted one is quite something (see pic). Nice and wide and padded.Fairly easy to fit, although the stem on my bike wasn't a standard size. If your seat is a standard one it'll change over no problem.Also comes with a wee spanner and Allen key (both good quality)Highly recommended

Having bought a new bike and finding that what was described as a saddle was actually a clothing ramming device that attempted to push any bits of clothing around your seat into any crease or crevice in your skin. I then tried cyclists padded undershorts but found that they were only effective for short trips (eventually the clothing ramming device would be ramming the padding into the creases and cracks as well. This saddle makes the padded undershorts redundant. I just wish they would make one with even more padding as after 20+ miles saddle soreness starts to creep in.

I bought this to replace my leather sprung saddle which I never found to be particularly comfortable.This saddle is not as large as you may expect. Its also quite hard when you first sit on it. The centre cut out does help particularly for a male rider. This is advertised as suitable for both male and female. I would suggest its more suited to female riders. The rear reflector strip is just a piece of reflective red tape. I would not expect it to stay on for long. The advertisement looks like it illuminates, it certainly doesn't, its just a sticky tape strip.Is it comfortable? Well its a little more comfortable than the saddle I have replaced this with. I shall see how it goes with further use.Fitting is very easy. No instructions are supplied but none are needed. It simply clamps to your bike seat post. The clamp could be removed and the saddle could be fitted to side clamp fittings. It is sprung but only at the rear of the saddle. I would say though that the springs are fairly effective.I am thinking of fitting a sprung seat post too at some point.So all in all, not as large or soft as you may think. I'll stick with it for a while.

Nice, comfy saddle. Not too soft, but definitely improves the quality of ride on my bike without a suspension. The reflective tape at the back of the seat started peeling off after the first ride. I have reattached it with super glue. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

So far so good, and a lot more comfortable than my previous saddle, but only received this saddle a week ago (and was asked to give feedback on this item).So saddle is quite comfortable but rear springs are not as springy as I thought they would be but overall quite pleased.I have only been able to go on a few small journeys so far.So that's why I only give 4 stars but be could 5 stars but only time will tell.

I ordered this new bicycle saddle for comfort as the one fitted to my bike was so hard! When this one arrived I noticed the fittings were different so I didn’t think I could keep it, therefore I requested a returns authorisation. It was agreed immediately. However I have since found the saddle pole fitting can be removed and fitted to my bike on a rail system. I am therefore delighted.

Worth the 5 star treatment, one of the comfiest rides ive had in years.well made and very easy to fit and dare i say it, rather stylish for an old guy like me.Exellent..up-date. The saddles falling apart at the springs, so I'm returning this.
