Plantronics' Voyager Charging Stand gets even better (when compared against the Voyager Legend Charging Case)
I've owned/use Plantronics headsets for more years than I can remember. Does that mean I've always used Plantronics, or that I never used other brands in-between Plantronics? Of course not...but I always end up going back to Plantronics. Why? Because there's nothing better.Case in point - In 2009, whatever headset I was using at the time (I believe it was from Motorola) was doing some "weird" things, and I had narrowed my choices down to three possible replacements: Plantronics Voyager, Jawbone, & BlueAnt. All three were highly rated. Where I was working (at the time), a couple came in, and I happened to notice the husband/boyfriend wearing the Voyager. Initially approaching them so as to provide customer service, I turned the conversation to Bluetooth headsets, and, mentioning my three choices, he said, "It's interesting that you happened to mention those specific headsets, as I have the Voyager, and I had the other two. Between them, the Voyager is, by far, the best of the three. In fact, it's the best headset I've ever had." That having been said, my decision was made...and Voyager-series headsets is what I've used ever since.Prior to the Voyager 5200, I had the Voyager Legend (which now belongs to my wife, as she had no headset, and seriously needed one), which, until the 5200, had been the best headset I'd had. Now, the Voyager 5200 has taken that "top spot". I HIGHLY recommend the Voyager 5200, as well as its charging case. Turning to the charging case, I was initially figuring I could use the charging case from the Voyager Legend to charge the Voyager 5200, but, due to the "angle" near the charging contacts, they wouldn't touch the Legend case's contacts. So, I ordered the 5200 charging case...and, likewise, I was hoping that I might be able to charge the Legend inside the 5200 case...but, again, no dice. This would have been great, as the 5200 case has two ways to charge the headset. Unlike the Legend case, which can only charge the headset from within the case, the 5200 case has a second charging point, allowing you to use the case as a charging stand, with the headset propped up, making it very easy to "grab & go".Logitech as always done an outstanding job in the design, and quality, of their products. Ignoring the "problem" of not being able to charge the Legend (although, other companies doe the same type of thing, making "minor adjustments", forcing consumers to purchase new accessories)...which, in truth, really isn't a "problem"...the Plantronics Voyager 5200 Charging Case is an exceptionally well-thought-out, well designed, product. Yes, it's slightly (but, again, not by much) on the "over-priced" side...but...if you have a job like I do, where you have a good possibility of the battery running low, and need a headset charging case, I HIGHLY recommend getting one. Even if your job doesn't drain your headset's battery, you should still consider getting one. Call it "peace of mind". Besides, even for regular home-charging use, it's much better than having to plug & unplug the headset - you just stick it into the "stand" charging slot, and, when you're ready to head out for the day, just grab & go.

Must have upgrade
I love this upgrade, it keeps the headset fully charged and is great for storage. It lives on my desk holds the headset upright and is ready to go. I've had this for 4+ years and it keeps working great.

A must with the headset
A great accommodation to the headset. It is easier to charge using this and easier to travel with

It works, it charges and it's compact
The only thing I wished is that it had updated from A port to the way more popular C ports. I had purchased this same one several years ago (packed in boxes somewhere), but I didn't realize until way later that it didn't fit the Voyager model I had. I didn't realize when I got it that there were 2 different Voyager models! This latest charging case (pictured) fit both Voyagers I currently have, just not the Voyager from YEARS ago. Anyway, good product

An amazing charging station for the Plantronics 5200
This charging station you can use two ways. You can put the earpiece in the top like in my picture or you can fold it and put it inside and it charges the Bluetooth quickly. It is a heavy duty case and it has multiple charges on it. It fits comfortably in the pocket for carrying around through the day. I've already spoken on the Bluetooth it is amazing it is truly comfortable the sound quality is beyond reproach you can be in a lot of wind or in a noisy environment and the people on the other end of the phone don't hear the noise or the wind just your voice. This combination is a perfect combination for anybody that uses a Bluetooth.

Useless as a docking station; poor customer service. Don't buy.
I really had high hopes for this product. I had read reviews that mentioned this issue, but went ahead and rolled the dice (twice, it appears) and came up snake eyes.Don't get me wrong; the design looks great, but the product is fatally flawed. That or Poly's Quality Control is seriously lacking. The main reason I wanted this docking device is to prevent having to pull back the tiny rubber flap that covers the micro-USB charging point on the base of the Voyager 5200 headset. That's both tricky, as well as likely to cause failure on the little flap, as well as placing stress on the micro-USB socket (in my experience, these fail after repeated use.)The idea of simply placing the headset onto the magnetic base, allowing the Voyager 5200 to charge was great. However, having tried 2 different headsets on 2 different charge cases, I simply cannot get it to charge on the dock. The internal charge ports work fine (hence neither headset had a problem with their charging contacts) but this configuration requires folding the headset each time (ie it won't simply slip onto your ear after; you have to rotate in 2 axes to position the loop correctly) and stops it being a desktop-docking station, which was the exact reason I bought it.Having already put Amazon through the hassle of sending a replacement of both the headset and the charge case, I then called Poly (who are no longer Plantronics, a company whose products I have used at work for years, and loved.) Poly were less than helpful and basically shrugged, and told me to return it again to Amazon. I'm simply not going to impose on Amazon any further for Poly's poor Quality Control.Poly are happy for me to wait past the 30-day Amazon return period and return it to Poly (at my shipping expense) who will then send me a "refurbished" unit, but really, what chance is there that this would result in a different outcome? My advice is to steer clear. Poly have lost me as a customer for life. I said as much to the Customer Service rep who literally told me to have a good day. Super poor experience.

Earpiece Charger works well
It charges my earpiece when in my office. I like it and more than satisfied.
