Seems to be secure lock but compared to others of similar standard reasonably portable for the average cyclist. We like the combination lock as it saves the risk of losing keys - although we realise they are a little less secure. Very good price too.

So far so good, remains to be seen if it will deter bike thieves. Easy to set lock and mechanism seems robust, unlike some other brands I have given up with. UPDATE CASING HAS CRACKED AND BROKEN 3 DECEMBER 2018.LASTED ALL OF 6 WEEKS. WILL BE CONTACTING SUPPLIER TO ASK FOR REFUND

LISTENQUALITY CHAIN BUT STOPS WITH THAT, COMBINATION LOCK IS EASE TO WORK OUT, I GOT A FRIEND TO SET COMBI AND I OPENED IT WITHIN A MINUTE, COMBINATION WHEELS AND MECH IS VERY LIGHT METAL SO ANY THIEF WOULD JUST SMASH IT WITH A HAMMER WOULD NOT HAVE TO CUT CHAIN.(THATS IF THEY CAN NOT WORK OUT COMBI IN NO TIME)AS I USE IT TO LOCK FRONT WHEEL AND HAVE A SECOND MAIN U-LOCK TO KEEP MY BIKE SAFE I WILL PUT UP WITH IT FOR NOW CHEAP PRICE! AND I NOW KNOW WHY!!!!...AS THEY SAY A CHAIN IS AS STRONG AS ITS WEAKEST LINK AND WHAT A WEAK LINK.PLUS YOU CAN NOT PICK COLOUR AND THIS LOCK GETS CHEAPER EVERY PRICE EVERY TIME I SEE IT COST ME £5.50 THIMKING I MAY JUST SEND BACK FOR REFUND.

I had three of these locks but now only two. Bike locked to a railing, unfortunately in a quiet and secluded spot, returned and bike gone.This is a good lock but if you cannot afford to lose your bike use a heavy D lock.

I use it to lock my garden gate. Prefer the combination lock or I would need to buy keys for all family members. There is nothing I don't like about this.
