Perfect solution
I bought a Hitachi drill kit that had two batteries and a light. I do a lot of drilling and screwing in screws. You're always taking the drill bit out and putting in this screw driver bit to put in the screws. That gets tiresome I saw this barebones drill and bought it and now I don't have to do I see that. Perfect solution. Well I am reviewing things I might mention that this model Hitachi drill is the best cordless drill I have ever used

Great buy.... Great drill!
Drill works flawlessly! Super excited to add to my hitachi collection and not have to buy the battery since I don't need it! Love the tool only option. I was worried since it didn't come in a hitachi box but the drill looks brand new and did have the manual which was a nice touch!

Love Hitachi... But not this one...!
I'm a remodeling contractor for 35 years. Needless to say I rely heavily upon quality tools. This is NOT one of them. Bought in August.... Was broken by mid January. I owned Hitachi model DS18DSAL before and it was an excellent drill. This model crapped out in 6 months. I don't think I need to say anymore.

Sold as kit actually Tool onlyBuyer beware this is tool only and not as advertised or pictured as a kit with two batteries - Was counting on the two batteries for use with other tools -goes to show if it sounds too good- it probably is....My order was successfully cancelled prior to charge or ship

I bought this as a replacement of a battery drill that we had for years. Very impressed with the power and beiong lightweight compared to what we had.

I have 4 of these. Each battery has lasted for years. I never charge a battery for more than 4 hours.and only charge when it runs down.

Works perfectly with my old battery. It is just like a brand-new drill. I had no problems with it and use it every day at work. Thank you for the good product.

useless drill. have not received refund
I didn't like this drill. There was only one speed and there was no way of securing the bit in the drill. It kept falling out. I returned it about 3 months and have not received my refund.
