The media could not be loaded.  This is great fun.Took about a day to build at a leisurely pace.Use the little tool they provide to push out the required parts.Take it slowly and follow the directions.Some bits are a bit fiddly but with patience no problem.What’s really great is no glue is required and when certain parts go together a slight snap can be heard when joined.A couple of the small plastic pieces flicked off whilst I was putting the car together but there’s more than enough spares provided.The car moves once wound up and is really quite cool.

If you are into Indy Car Racing, this is a nice model for your collection. If you are trying to decide between the Veter Speedster and this V3 for your first wood and plastic model, I recommend building this one first. I have built them both. The engineering here is better. Learning about the wood to plastic connections is the key to success. This is a very nice concept. The detail is good and the model is well engineered. Allow the wax to "be your friend."

Could not get past step 1. Impossible to slide parts together. Not wasting my time with frustrations when these are supposed to be fun. Returning.

This kit looks good in the advert, just do not expect it to be that good in reality. The kit is built using wooden pieces and plastic pieces! The wooden parts are quite good and fit reasonably well. The plastic pieces however are an annoyance and constantly refuse to stay in place. Fitting the plastic pieces together is rather difficult and frequently painful on your finger tips. The kit looks nice but building it requires extreme patience, effort and a box of plasters.

This is an extremely complex model on which i am still working. Many pieces both plastic and wood are minute and the wooden bits which bend are very delicate although spares are provided. If i finish it, it will be a challenge well completed!

Der größte Teil der Bauteile ist zu fest in den Bauschablonen so dass es da schon Probleme gibt. Ein Teil der Zahnräder ist in der Größe nicht kompatibel ( Zähne passen nicht, zu groß,d.h. ungenauer Anriss damit Schwierigkeiten bei der Beweglichkeit). Ausserdem war ich nicht informiert, dass ein Teil der Bauteile aus Plastik ist, dann hätte ich das Modell überhaupt nicht gekauft .Kurz und gut , das Modell kann mich nicht zufriedenstellen und fördert keinesfalls meine Begeisterung für das Basteln.

Die Vorderräder wackeln lose umher, die Lenkung nur nach links, also Attrappe, aufziehen geht über die Fingerspitzen, und fahren nur mit anstoßen. Ich habe an die 80 Holzmodelle und weiß ein bisschen bescheid. Ihr Modell ist nur zum ansehen und für die Größe zu teuer. Gruß Peter.
