Panama Jack Men's Mesh Safari Hat

Great hat had one for years and left poolside. Ordered this hat to replace my original Panama Jack.

Very durable. I went to write this review and I ordered the hat in 2021. No wonder it was looking very shabby. I use it for gardening and woodworking so it had accumulated a patina of dirt. Wanted to wear it to town as o I put it in the washer delicate cycle with shout on the stained parts . It came out looking almost new hence the very durable to comment. Light weight but had drawstring to keep it on in the wind . Great work hat picture is after 4 years of wear and one washing. The brim is as little low in the front but at 78 I have a tendency to stoop and the low brim makes me stand upright.

I've never owned a hat like this before. I've always worn baseball/dad style hats. I've wanted something like this for a while. I have a pretty large head and XL is my size. This hat is light weight and will keep my head from overheating. It was also packaged nicely in a pretty large Panama Jack box. The hat came with protective insert and a protective band around the outside. I may hold on to the box just to protect the hat. I've seen hats that were much more expensive than this that didn't seem to be any nicer.

I purchased this hat because I saw a friend wearing one and I asked him about it. He gave it a glowing verbal review, so I felt confident I would like one of my own. I do! I wear it while mowing and doing other yard work. Goodbye to straw hats! This is a durable product that looks great and performs its primary function very well. It is a purchase you will not regret.

I spent a lot of time reading the reviews for mens hats. Many styles looked similar. I wanted a hat to protect my head/face/neck from harmful sun rays while I sat on my lawn tractor cutting our lawn. It had to have wide brims, ventilation at the top and light weight. This hat meets all criteria. In fact it’s so light I barely notice it on. That’s saying something. The icing on the cake it’s priced right and is a nice looking hat as well. I usually order X-lg (23 1/2”) and this fit perfectly. The hold down strap is a nice touch. Very pleased with my purchase. Can’t see anything to complain about.
