Bruce Lee: Tribute Statue - Version 4, 1/4th Scale Hybrid Type Statue

First off I was surprised when Amazon had this on sale for under $500 and was even more surprised when I realized this is the exclusive edition with the Fu Dog bonus. See there are 2 versions of the statue from Blitzway. One is just the statue the other is considered a pre-order bonus and that includes this 5-6 pound Fu-Dog statue which makes for a beautiful companion display piece. Plus getting something for nothing as an “extra” is always nice but when it’s beautifully sculpted, detailed, and painted as well. BUT enough about the extra….the main piece is a meticulously sculpted Bruce Lee in 1/4 scale. Blitzway completely out did themselves. The sculpt is beyond my wildest dreams and the paint is so well done. Normally on any piece you will find “slop” or an area that was not well painted. Well not here from the veining to shading to the unbelievable work done on the face, eyes, and even the lips….it is by far the most beautifully painted piece I’ve seen on a statue and I’ve been collecting and dealing with collectibles for close to 40 years. The base is also amazing. It has these little tiny reliefs of Bruce in iconic martial art poses gilded in gold while the top is a circular stone motif adds to the drama of the piece without over powering it. Meaning the base never detracts from the beauty of the statue itself. The outfit (soft goods) is well tailored and a perfect scaled down miniature of the actual outfit. The best Bruce Lee statue!

The media could not be loaded.  This is hands down one of the greatest statues of any kind I personally have in my collection. It arrived in immaculate condition. The resemblance to Bruce Lee is uncanny. The portrait is one of the best looking and most accurate depictions of the Jeet Kune Do Founder I've ever seen. It is genuinely a beautiful sculpt. Every intricate detail from the color of the eyes, each strand of hair, skin pores, veins, muscle tone, the clothing, etc.. This is my first statue purchase from BLITZWAY and I am just blown away by the quality of the entire statue, including its packaging. The quality control of this company is top tier. Photos are great but let me tell you, seeing it in person is truthfully so much better. This is the only statue I have that is of a real person. At 1/4th scale, the size is no joke. Standing at just about 23 inches tall. This statue will certainly be a conversation starter and also a highlight to my collection. For such a beloved and iconic Master of hybrid martial arts and philosophy, there was a lot of responsibility on the part of BLITZWAY and they delivered on that. In addition to the incredible statue was an Imperial golden lion statue, which in itself stands out on its own and makes a great companion piece to display alongside Bruce Lee. Such a fine polished type of bronze/gold and the statue has a good hefty weight to it as well. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and can confidently say that this is one of the best Bruce Lee statues, PERIOD! The likeness is accurate, and the mixed media of actual cloth fabric clothing creates the illusion that Bruce Lee is really here!!! I am intrigued to see what else BLITZWAY has to offer after such a marvelous experience.
