Dog Repeller

I used it for the first time recently. While running in rural Hawaii, a large unrestrained dog blocked my access and barked aggressively at me, I feared an attack. While the audible feature didn't work for this, the ultrasonic feature did. The dog stopped barking, walked away and pressed himself into a fence. It literally saved me from an attack!!!! Greatful!!

Other than a noise maker no affect on dogs.

Product is well constructed, durable, etc. All features function as advertised. Problem is, my 7yo Australian Cattle Dog just barks all the more no matter which interrupter I use.To be fair, the seller states that it may not suppress barking in older dogs. I suspect that is the problem. I say this because I have a friend who bought the same product and it worked almost immediately on her 3yo Chow Chow.

This product is right on the money. I purchased it because I do track running in a nature reserve near home, where a lot of dog owners let their dogs off the leash. Most dogs are friendly or indifferent, but some are aggressive. After being attacked a couple of times, I got this product. First day out with the product a German Shepherd attacked me, while his owner was attending his other dog, 10 meters away. The device was ready in my palm, and I pushed the trigger. The big dog stopped right away, and looked confused. After a few seconds it charged again. Once again I hit the button, and it stopped right there. This time it decided to give up, and walked away.The device is light, small, easy to operate, and most importantly - works!I'm not going to go out running without it.

Okay the neighbor's dog is an intact, 150?pound Anatolian shepherd. He moves a bit, but that's all. His owners will neither train or restrain him and I want him OUT of my yard. Not working. Could be fine with a normal dog. Luckily he's good natured.

Love this for training my dog. She’s a cairn terrior and lately began growling at other dogs. She’s very territorial, but friendly. I’ve used it to remind her growling isn’t permitted. Rarely need to reinforce. Just reminding her that I have this device with me usually keeps her from any aggressive territorial behaviors. I love that it has an audible sound. This grabs her attention quickly, and I know that it’s working. I’ve bought another brand in black , and although it says audible in the description, the description is no longer accurate. I’ve returned three devices because of the false advertisement. Glad I found what I needed.

I got this to help better control a Jack Russel. She barked at everything. Not anymore ! After one week I hardly even have to use. If she does bark I just call her name and stops. It's awesome 👌 oh yes... works on that little yapping neighbour's dog too... lol

This unit appears to work on some dogs but not all. I read a review that stated it was more effective on larger dogs and I found that to be somewhat accurate. I did use it on a particularly aggressive dog and it caused the animal to stop advancing on me. I use this device while on my walks but also carry pepper spray as a backup.
