It was pretty sad looking when I opened the package. Snarled and frizzy mess. Once I washed with a conditioning shampoo, applied frizz ease and while still wet, set it in thinnest curlers I had (1/4-1/2 in width), put it away and then took it out 2 days later (got busy and forgot about it), Voila! Lovely, curled and softly shiny.Human hair, once you get over the ick factor, is worlds better than synthetic. No more shiny, fake look. (It may look fine indoors but in direct sunlight, synthetic hair screams "Barbie hair"). For those who color their hair it Doesn't matter if it's exact color match. Make sure to get a lighter shade and color it when you are coloring your hair and Perfect color match. You can also style it with heat, higher temps than any synthetic.$20 for human hair is amazing price.The color black brown, the one I got is more black than brown. The pic looked more brown. I am guessing there is some variation in color intensity with range between dark brown to near black for this shade. The size was perfect for this adult head (I have pretty big head : ). Buy 2 if you want more volume and drama.A tip that really helped me is use a small/medium clip with jaws (like banana clip but smaller) and place it above the bun (push the hair up a bit to give volume in the crown) and another one directly under. They keep my hair from getting loose and falling out as the day goes on. The scrunchie hair hides them but it doesn't matter to me if they show. It just looks like part of the bun making clips and hairpins.This is Great during the summer when you want your hair up and your shoulder length hair makes a pathetic little knob.

Look. I know this is cheap. I in no way ordered this expecting Remy hair quality. However. I did expect it to be at least functional. I intended to use this as a bun maker, so you technically would not be able to see it entirely. However, despite my intention of discretion this ended up in the garbage. Allow me to note the deficits. 1)The wefts detach from the elastic in random places. This requires some finagling to prevent the wefts from flopping out and blowing your cover. 2) The color...How to describe.... imagine pull through the cap, untoned highlights over dusty brown hair covered in aqua net hairspray, to give that faded, matte appearance no one ever asked for. 3) Imagine running your hair through the tail of a horse who has just vigorously galloped through a field of fox tails. Imagine brushing said tail without conditioner or detangler. I tried deep conditioning. Oil treatment, trimming the ends. All to no avail.ITs a hard no for me. #N #O

I received this today and not sure that it is real hair but it looks to be a different texture than synthetic ones I have owned. It is a shade lighter than my hair but it is the color described. I will attempt to dye it when I get a chance and see how that goes. For now, it is worth the money. It goes on easy and the imperfections of some of the curls add to the real look I wanted. Too perfect just looks fake at times. There is some shine but not like synthetic tend to shine. I would recommend this item.

This piece is a lovely, very bright red. It doesn’t look like the picture which doesn’t work for me because I’m more of a natural golden red. It’s very good quality though. Hoping to find a better fit

Great scrunchie hair piece! For someone with very fine thin hair, like myself , it's perfect! It's not a big amount of hair on the scrunchie, but that's why it works great for me. I've ordered 2 now, the first one i ordered was the perfect color but the hair itself was a little ratty. I washed it, conditioned it and put leave in treatment still didn't help that much. But it's still good for everyday use. The 2nd one i ordered the hair is much nicer but the wrong color. I have to return that one. I plan to purchase another so i can rotate when the other one is drying. Overall i think it's great! I use it almost everyday! I would recommend it definitely.

This is a party wig piece; it is not 100% human hair; I don't know what it is, but it itches!!!! 100% human hair does not itch me. But what they eh... I'll buy real 100 % human hair from someplace else, and it is not full like the picture, it is very flimsy made, skimpy. The picture looks like she has on at least 3 of these or 4 put together to make it full looking. Disappointed.

This is in my opinion the best hair enhancement scrunchie. It feels soft, didn’t feel tight, but keeps hair secure. I’ve bought several (my little dog always seems to find them and thinks it’s a toy) so I keep buying them. My hair isn’t very long, and perfect to pull it up especially in the Texas heat!

Nice piece of hair extension, closer to light auburn than light brown and rather small. If you like tight buns works great but I like loose and rather large buns, so too small for me.

I bought two of these little scrunchies a couple of months ago and wanted to wait until I'd used them before giving a review. Since I haven't used one of these before purchasing these, I have no basis for comparison as to quality but I will say that with the hair flowing in all directions, when it's worn as indicated (by twisting it into a smaller circle and then again), the hair seems to become matted around whatever band it is attached to on the scrunchie itself. Once I've got it wrapped around a small bun in my own hair, I have to spend quite a long time trying to pick the hair so that there is enough to look "messy" but full. Since I bought these to be fast in my preparations to go out, having to pick at them to get them to look full at all, doesn't quite fill the bill. The quality is okay and the hair is nice on them but I sure wish they didn't bind into themselves they way they do.
