Great characters, great bisexual romance
It's really refreshing to read a bisexual romance in which the two male characters have a genuine and meaningful connection between them, rather than both just focusing on the woman. The characters were beautifully flawed and believable, the emotion was intense and the world was coherent. Very well done.

Worth the read once you get past the slow start!
Despite the slow start, I really ended up enjoying this book. Once things picked up, it was explosive and steamy. The chemistry between Maddox (Mad Dog), Leo, and Celeste was off the charts. So hot I had to stop reading for a minute. I was extremely pleased with how Ms. Bell was descriptive during the love scenes and how Maddox took his time with Leo and Celeste since it was their first time for certain things. The characters were well developed and easily relatable. Once we got through the first few chapters, the storyline flowed smoothly the rest of the way. I can’t wait for the next books in this series. I hope we’ll get answers to questions I was left with at the end.I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.

Great Start
This story keeps you captivated as a lot is going on. As the story continues things slowly unravel as pieces fall into place. The story does end on a happy note but is left open for you to continue to follow in the next book.

Good but a little confusing
Maddox is back in his hometown, working on his tattoo shop and head down (but ears on the ground). His tattoo shop is neutral zone but the underbelly of the city is welcome on his chair for ink. This is how he’s met Leo, a man Maddox is in love with. But Leo is in love with Celeste, the daughter of the most powerful man in LA and out of reach for Leo. He’s her bodyguard, nothing more. That is until Leo takes a bullet for Celeste.Maddox is torn between wishing the best for Leo and Celeste, but he can’t. Not when he has feelings for both of them, deep feelings that will not go away. After all, Celeste is the reason Maddox was forced to leave over ten years ago, his love for her ending bloody and broken for him.Can these three make a go of it and most importantly, will their love make it in the end?The story is good and I liked the characters, but there was something that stopped me from fully enjoying and loving the story. Maybe it’s because a lot happens in the book but not everything gets processed with the amount it would need. And I wasn’t a fan of the timeline either, it kept jumping. The three main characters I liked and their chemistry together is good. But again, something was missing. I don’t know what, but I couldn’t fully put my finger on it. I was ready to love them fro merge blurb but I didn’t. Did I have too high expectations? Maybe. Also there were a twists and turns that felt like they were crammed in there for the sake of twists that might’ve been better left out.In the end, it was an okay read but not enough for me to continue with the series.

Action packed
I buy a lot of free or $.99 books and then never read them, but I’m so glad I decided to read this one almost right away! Maddox owns a tattoo shop, and has been giving Leo for a year. They’ve become friends, and Maddox has fallen for Leo. Then Leo’s boss shows up at the tattoo shop while Leo is getting work done, but worse the boss brought the big boss’s daughter with him!! Celeste is someone Leo acts as bodyguard for often, but also has a long ago history with Maddox. And so it begins!! There’s family drama, there’s gangland drama, there’s cartel drama!! There’s even a dance studio that the tattoo shop is in the same building, owned by his mom. It was such a great read, I’m ready for the next one!!

Second Skin off to a great start
I really enjoyed this book.Great character developments, intense relationships, family drama.Surprises! (I was not ready for that event) *tear*It reads well and you do get tossed in along with the characters - it’s defo a different feel to what OB normally writes but all her signature blends are there.I recommend this beauty! Bring on book 2😊

A different look at mmf
This is a great romance with MMF, but not in the usual tacky way. Lots of suspense, romance and hot sex scenes done beautifully. And a story that keeps you on your toes.
