Delicious, perfectly portioned. Ordered it on Wednesday and it was here on Friday. It came packed on ice and still frozen! Excellent product.

I bought this product for a New Year's Eve party and it was absolutely fantastic!All of these activists that claim that the production of foie gras is cruel have done ZERO research on foie gras produced in the US.Although I do believe there are farms in Europe that may mistreat their animals, it is not the case in the US. There are only three (highly competitive ) foie gras farms in the US. They pride themselves on the ETHICAL treatment of their animals. The activists are upset about farmers "ramming" feeding tubes down their throats: first off, ducks do not have teeth, nor do they have a gag reflex, like humans do. In fact, if you've ever seen a duck eat they swallow their food whole. Second, the tubing they use is a soft plastic (this is a recent method being used in US farms) so there is no damage to the animals' throats. Third, the animals are only given a feeding if they have room for more food, they are never fed enough to make them sick. The animals are basically free range. I know all of this because I did do my research before buying this product.Don't believe the activists this is a fantastic product! Make it a delicious addition to your next dinner party!

I held a foie gras party at home and ordered this. It came right on time and the packing was great. Each one was individually packed, thus the quality is very consistent and you can store the unused one in your freezer for up to 2 years (according to their customer service person). The quality was very good. Super delicious.

Fresh and tasty.. too much for shipping...!!required # of words ? Are you kidding..what happened to brevity.. is this for my convenience or yours..hubris!!

Just purchased this and the product is amazing! If you love foie gras this is a great product. Thaws up in minutes in a water bath and seared in another 2. Just salt and some sweet source and you have the perfect delicacy. Good thing you can ignore all the one stars if tree-hugging is not your primary occupation :)

It was a great buy, nicely packaged and easy to cook. It tasted fabulous. I got exactly what I expected. The portions were perfect because I didn't have to mess with devaining. The sent it in a cooler to ensure freshness it was great.
