Worked for what I needed but thinner than expected
This wire worked quite well for what I needed but was thinner than other 32 gauge wires I’ve bought in the past. This made it a bit more susceptible to kinking and breaking than I was hoping, but overall held up well once I got a little more used to working with it. I made wire wrapped beaded bracelets that I’ve been wearing daily for about 2 months with no breaking of the wire (once the bracelet was completed) and minimal tarnish, despite being worn in the shower. It also has not turned my skin green, which is nice. Overall, it is more expensive than comparable wire at craft stores, but the quick and free shipping might make up for it depending on how quickly you need supplies. I also found this wire to be less prone to completely unraveling off the spool than other spooled wires, likely because it is so thin.

Exactly what I wanted.
I made tear drop earings after flattening out the brass wire.

Not used to using craft wire,a little too bendy for me.
It's ok. I'm used to a stiffer wire but still good. Was very easy to use. I like it.

Color seemed off.
I use this wire often, but the spool that I received seemed a little yellow brass he rather than the usual brassy color it is.

easy to work with; I personally could do without the non-tarnish coating
I bought this for making my own headpins, but I have used it for various other wirework projects as well.It is a lovely, golden, brassy color. It has a tarnish-resistant coating. I do scrub this coating off (have tried different strategies including steel wool and various polishes; not yet sure which is my favorite). Next time I will probably look for non-tarnish-resistant (or bare) wire, because removing the coating is a bit of work and the coating has to be off to make headpins (which I am doing by holding the end of a length of this over a torch to ball up the end). Also because I like playing around with patinas and that won't work with the coating in place.I do like that this is 20 gauge -- it feels pretty substantial to me. It is too wide to make an eyepin or headpin that will go through a pearl, but for many beads including Swarovski crystals, firepolished Czech glass, etc., it fits perfectly, and I feel like any wrapping I do is more secure than with a thinner gauge wire. This isn't enamel colored; I think someone recycled the description from the blue/purple/green/orange varieties of Artistic Wire, which are enamel colored. I don't find that I have any trouble shaping this with pliers and/or wire jigs.I would not use this for earrings; brass contains a percentage of copper and may turn your ears green as a result. (You can coat or seal the part that goes through your earring hole, but the coating will have to be reapplied periodically. You can get anodized niobium earwires in a pretty close color if you are wanting to make earrings; those have the added bonus of being hypoallergenic.)Anyway, I, personally, could do without the non-tarnish coating, but otherwise, I've been really happy with this.

Not the same color
Both rolls bought at the same time, same brand, same seller, same description. One is 20g and the other is 28g (as ordered). They are not the same color. The 28g is more copper-toned, the 20g is more golden-toned.

Love it
I buy this wire for my small business and I love it. Great quality and the shipping was extremely fast considering it was ordered during the holiday season. Would definitely buy again from this seller!
