Yep, it's a cat 6 cable. Yep, it's 50ft. Yep, it's only $5.50.
Need a 50 foot Cat 6 cable? Buy this. You can have it in 2 days (with prime) for 5 bucks and some change. If you want to spend $40 on the same thing, go to your local Best Buy. It works like any other Cat 6 cable will, don't buy into the hype and think it's going to be any different from something much more expensive. If SOMEHOW you have any issues, Amazon has amazing customer service and you will have no problem getting a refund or replacement.This cable feels EXACTLY like more expensive cables I've used, and performs just the same. Seriously, it's fine.I was only getting about 50mbps average on Wi-Fi. Now that I'm using a wired connection (using this cable of course) I'm averaging around 180-200mbps.I have fiber to the house and "up to 1gbps" supposed speeds, but after calling the ISP and having a tech come out to see why I'm not getting faster speeds he flat out told me "Yeah that's why we say up to, NOBODY actually gets that, this is all you're gonna get man." Quite the bummer, but now I know. Don't buy into the ISP marketing words and expect the actual speed you're paying for on the "up to" speeds hah.Again though, the cable works perfectly. I tested it side by side with a shorter more expensive Cat 6 cable and they were identical speeds. Speed testing with my phone just now on Wi-Fi I just got 30mbps in my room. I'd pay $5.50 any day to boost that up to 200mbps!I've said enough, if you've read this far just go ahead and buy this! These days you can hardly buy a beer in a bar for the price of this cable!

Great cable for watching 4K videos with.
A friend of mine was using his wifi to try and watch some 4K videos. That didn't work as his internet service thru his wifi was lagging. I suggested we run a hard line from his modem to the TV. No lag there.Purchased this cable and ran it along the floorboards and up over a door and back into the TV. What a difference it has made for my friend. Before he had clocking issue as it was buffering.. Now no lag or buffering. Before using WiFi he had an internet speed of between 15 - 25 mbps (25 is the recommended lowest speed for 4K). Now using this new cable his speed to over 50 mbps.Great cable. I do recommend this cable.
