Difficult to Use, Hard on Fresh Tattoos
Unfortunately, this product was incredibly difficult to use! I have several tattoos and have used waterproof dressing with great success. I assumed this item, being specifically marketed for tattoos, would be even better! Quite the opposite…First, the sticky side is not protected by a film, like other dressings. Once you pull it away from the roll it is exposed, making it hard to cut and impossible to lay over the tattoo and size the piece you need. Second, the backing is very stiff, so it’s hard to lay gently against a fresh tattoo as it tries to curl and resist the body curves. Once finally wrestled into place the film is too thick, so instead of stretching with your body it resists and pulls against the tender tattoo. Because it doesn’t stretch, your skin stretches instead, resulting in mechanical blisters (which I did get along some edges). Lastly, the edges don’t all stick smoothly, so some parts lift, allowing bacteria in, yet somehow removing the bulk of the dressing is very difficult! It takes a long time in a shower to ease it off, leaving your new tattoo pretty sore and harassed.Essentially, I highly recommend waterproof dressing for tattoos but not this stuff. Their creams and salves might be great, I don’t know, but this stuff is not… Stick with a standard waterproof dressing like Saniderm!

Not great, not worth it.
I am a tattoo artist. This product is not great. Cheap and hard to use. Last choice on the list
