Exclusive (Godmothers Book 2)

The Grandmothers book was wonderful!! I loved all the moments of it!! I just wish Abby & Chris would get together!!!

It drags a little in the middle. But, it picks back up when Ida comes to her senses. Overall a good read.

I love Fern Michael's books. The Godmother series is a hoot. These women are all different, but are bff's to the bone, ride and die friends. They curse each other out and cut to the bone with the truth. I love how Toots is willing to buy the paper so Abby can still have a job. Mavis has the purest soul. Kudos, to her weight lost and her desire for all of them to live a long healthy life. Ida, girl you need a holiday from men, your judgement is seriously impaired. Toots and Sophie need to lay off the cigarettes, cigarette smoking is truly a nasty habit. The dynamics between Chris and Abby is interesting, they are drawn to each other. Patel, Amala, and Mohammad got caught because greed and contempt for others will always lead to a negative consequences. I will definitely read the rest of the books in the series.

What is there not to like? It is funny at times . it will bring tears at times and you will keep reading. Can not wait for the next book.

This is a good story about Godmothers and seeing ghost and helping to capture scammers and saving a newspaper for Abby

I would recommend this series to anyone who is looking for a new author to try. I truly enjoy all her books.

Fern Michaels is one of what I guess would now be called the old school authors of women's fiction. The stories are complete in each volume, even if characters and plot references carry over, and the writing is solid, literate, and error free. Thank heavens. In the new world of e-books, instant gratification, and illiterate error plagued tripe, it is like sinking into a warm silky bubble bath at the end of a hard day instead of a rushed, tepid shower. I had forgotten how enjoyable books of this caliber can be. Toots and the godmothers in this series are sweet, snide, brash, shy, raunchy, ladylike, and every other description you can think of, senior citizens who have been friends for over fifty years. Toots is very wealthy, Ida is somewhat wealthy and the others are not but that doesn't matter. What matters is friendship and the desire to grab onto life and live it to the hilt. It is the crazy adventures they get into after reuniting during a visit that is the basis for this series that I have not been able to put down! This book was a hoot! A gourmet meal in a world of fast food! I believe it to be a truly enjoyable read!

Fern Michaels writes a great book, more people should read them. This Godmothers series is very good
