Dispite the fact that there are no illustrations this book give an insite to one of the greatest minds to ever live, just the fact that the notebooks exist is a revalation in its self. I once visited a stately home in Derbyshire just near Matlock where there was a orginal drawing hanging which if I so wished could have touched I was that close that was a moment in history for me so to actually find some notes by the him is also a moment in history only thing now to do is find a physical edition of this work, ok I don't pretend to understand everything he is saying but then again I wonder does that matter for what you are holding is the closest thing to having a chat with him.

I really enjoyed this book so very enlightening... such wonderful eye openers and new things to take on board.... much food for thought ........

Hard to read, but insightful for a look into the mind of a genius.

Its great to find that you can get most of the classics for free on the Kindle. I have been working my way through them. Lets hope the children of today will be tempted (because they are free) and will read them. :-)
