Still my gold standard for smaller boards
I've tried a few different markers, including other varieties of the Staedtler marker, and these can't be beat. The wet-erase are inconvient, the correctable ones with the little scrubby eraser tip just don't erase well and the erasing process is annoying. The tip size on these is just right for writing on smaller boards like the 9 x 12 boards I use. The Staedtler super fine point is too fine; you can't see it well unless you're pretty close to the board. These would be too fine for writing on a board in a bigger room, say, a conference room, but you'll be looking at the broader bullet or chisel markers for that. The intensity of Staedtler colors beats all other dry-erase markers I've tried. Don't even start with Expo... ugh.

They have a fine tip so I can write much more on the whiteboard. They are also very comfortable to use with a small whiteboard as a notepad.

Not bad for the price, good for small whiteboards.
Purchased: 12 December 2016 for £4. From seller: Amazon EU S.a.r.L.I purchased these pens to use with my whiteboard, I stored them vertically for a while by hanging them off of the whiteboard. Which seemed to have resulted in them drying out and not working very well. After then storing them horizontally on their side, they seemed to work just fine, I imagine the ink re-saturated the nib. HOWEVER after using them for a minute they started to fade again, so I think they are probably ruined from me storing them incorrectly for so long. So if you want them to work properly make sure you at least store them horizontally on their side so that the nibs don't dry out. Before I stored them incorrectly, they worked just fine, they are a bit too thin for for what I use them for now. I had also bought the cheapest bullet tip whiteboard markers I could find by WB "Whitebox" and they are really good for their price, almost as good as the Pilot V Boardmaster Bullet tip markers, which I now use and are perfect for my needs (mainly drawing on a battle mat for D&D)With the Steadtler you get 4 markers, Red, Blue, Green and Black, with the Whitebox you also get Red, Green, Blue and Black. And finally the Pilot gives you Red, Green, Blue, Black and Orange. The Steadtler markers are still currently £4. The Whitebox markers are currently £1.65 and the Pilot markers are £10.05.So for the price of one Pilot marker £2.01 (based on dividing the pack price), you could get 4 Whitebox markers and have 36p left over. Or have the Steadtler markers for the price of 2 Pilot markers. The Pilot V Markers are refillable, by way of replacing an ink cartridge, you can get a back of 12 cartridges for around £13.80, so £1.15 per refill. They are also recycled, so if you care about the environment, that's nice, rather than having to buy an entire new marker when you just need more ink, and the marker itself is made from recycled material.Due to how thin they are, I'm not actually quite sure what you would use the Steadtler markers for. Based on other reviews, I suppose small A4 size whiteboards, these are definitely not practical for a whiteboard much bigger than that, at A3+ size you'll probably find either the Whitebox or Pilot markers more practical. So for A4 size whiteboards I'd recommend the Steadtler, for anything larger, and on a budget I'd recommend the Whitebox markers, and for the best whiteboard markers I'd recommend the Pilot V Boardmaster Markers.Sizes in case you care:Line thickness (give or take a couple 0.1mm, a ruler isn't super accurate)Pilot: 1.8mmWB: 1.5mmSteadtler: 0.5mmBox/packaging sizes (Length by Width by Depth):Pilot: 14cm by 11.5cm by 2.3cmSteadtler: 15cm by 5.2cm by 1.4cmWB: 13.6cm(plastic flap folded down)/15.5cm by 6cm by 1.4cmIndividual marker sizes (Length by Width):Pilot: 13.5cm by 2.3cm (at it's widest) - it's tapered towards the refill cartridgeSteadtler: 14cm by 1cm (1.3cm including cap clip) - straight body with clip protruding further than rest of markerWB: 13cm by 1.4cm - widest point is 1mm wider than rest of body 1.3cmPictures:The Steadtler black looks faded as my pens have dried out somewhat, the black looked as clear as the Red, Green and Blue before I stored them incorrectly, to be fair to Steadtler this is not representative of the new product or when it has been stored correctly.

Long lasting fine tip whiteboard pens - perfect for little one's writing practice
These pens are long lasting, the nib stays in shape and you get a fine felt tip type line.My little one (aged 4) loves using them in her wipe clean writing practice books. The pens are slim and easy for her to hold. Afterwards, the ink wipes completely away easily, just using a damp kitchen towel.I am so pleased with the pens. When they do eventually dry out, I wouldn't hesitate to buy more!

Good pens, long lasting and provided in a great case which can double as a pocket protector
Each of these pens are great, they work grand when using them on a flat surface but also work well when using them standing up before a white board, wall chart or wall planner too. Black, blue, red, green is the full range of colours that I have found necessary to make notes distinctively for a number of different categories. The tops of the pen fit on the base but its not that secure, they will pop off and fall to the floor easily enough, the only, really minor, quibble I'd have with them. The case for these is a hard plastic one, the top clicks/clips closed or open and I really liked the shape and build on this, when its popped open its easy to get any of the pens out or put any back in, its molded so they dont all fall out or slide about inside the packaging. The case is about as good as any pocket protector too, if you use that sort of thing to protect a shirt pocket or coat pocket from damage by accidential leaks (I dont think this would be a problem with these pens to be honest but a hard knock would break them as much as any other pen like them).

Smooth, clean, defined lines!
I bought these pens to use on the ANSIO 60cm x 45cm Double Sided Drywipe Magnetic Whiteboard with Aluminium Frame and have been nothing but impressed! The pens arrived earlier than I was expecting, were wrapped in minimal packaging (just a cardboard envelope), and came in a protective plastic case that doubles as a stand. All four pens fit nicely into a standard-sized whiteboard pen tray (I store mine horizontally). I've been writing and drawing with them for a few days now and have seen consistent quality. The ink distribution is smooth, the colours bright, and the lines quite fine and easily controllable - much more so than the average whiteboard pen. The narrow line is perfect for making notes to reference for myself, though of course a pen this fine is only useful in a home or home office situation, not in a school or public area where bolder, more visible writing is needed.I've been very pleased with these pens and look forward to using them for a long time.
