Awesome sound
I bought these to listen to audiobooks while my husband watches tv. I have trouble with most earbuds being too large and painful when I attempt to wear them. These fit perfectly, and block outside noises well. Sound quality is fantastic. Recharge quickly. I have used them for up to 6 hours without running the batteries dead. Love this product and would happily buy again.

It was exactly what I was expecting!

It is very comfortable to wear them.
It is very comfortable to wear them in general and while I am working out. I have been searching for earbuds that do not fall out while I am running. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that the earbuds barley got sweaty. Though the battery life is only 7 hours.

All About That Bass (Where Did It Go?)
Remember that famous Maxell commercial and photo where a guy, wearing a leather jacket and a scarf, is sitting in a chair in front of a pair of speakers and the volume is so clear and dynamic using Maxell tape that it was like the guy was in a hurricane? I have had a framed print of that photo in my media room for about 4 decades. It followed me as I moved from home to home. Before I sat down to write this review, I stood a few minutes, staring at that print, and shaking my head. Putting the Maxell name on these buds is a travesty and soils my memory of the quality of Maxell products of the past. How far they have fallen! The Maxell Jelleez True Wireless Bluetooth 5.0 Earbuds are a pair of buds that want to be an economical version of Apple's AirPods. They have a similar look to AirPods. Charging was simple enough. I can't say how long the charge will last, although the box suggests up to 6 hours of use. The instructions are sparse and in really tiny print. You may need a jewelers loupe to read them. There aren't a lot of functions. You can power On/Off, Play/Pause, Answer/End Call. Each bud can be used separately although I don't know why you would want to do that. Besides the buds, you get a charging case, a short USB cord to plug into a standard USB charger, and a pair of jell coverings for the buds. I tried them and was unable to use the coverings because they made the buds uncomfortable and difficult to stay put in my ears.Let's get down to business. What you really want to know is how do they sound? They aren't awful. Once connected to your device via Bluetooth, mine is an iPhone 12 Pro Max, the sound comes through nice and clear. I had no trouble understanding the words. Volume is controlled by your phone, not the buds. I liked the clarity of the sound. The treble was clean and easy to listen to but the bass was almost non-existent. I have another pair of knock-off buds that I purchased, in the same price range, and they had more functions, like raising volume up and down, forward and back tracking, and noticeable bass! These didn't and there was no way to adjust to improve bass response. I could make the music louder but the bass response never improved. I wish "Maxell" had spent an extra buck or two on sound quality. If you don't care about the bass, and don't want to spend much money, then these otherwise nice looking earbuds may be good enough.Pros:- Inexpensive- Looks nice- Clear sound- Comes with charger, USB cable, and jell bud coversCons:- Basic functions only- Bass virtually non-existent- Jell bud covers didn't work well- Instructions have super tiny print

Not good at all
Oof. I don’t know who designed these earbuds, but whomever it was they didn’t work too hard that day.Now I’ll preface this review by pointing out that I don’t often review earbuds in this price range. These things currently retail for around $30, which is pretty much as low as you can go for a price of wireless earbuds, and naturally they’re not going to measure up well against the average $100+ pair I review. Even so, I think these things are poor *compared to other wireless earbuds at this price point*.The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that the charging case looks pretty good, a little white pillbox with ‘Maxell’ faintly embossed in the lid. It’s a cool design, and this, unfortunately, is the last positive thing I have to say about these things. The charging case closes with a physical snap rather than magnetically, as is standard no matter the price of the earbuds, and it’s a little tricky to open with man sized hands. Once I got it open I noticed that the lid is worryingly flimsy. It opens to around 85 degrees, and with not all that much force I feel like I could bend it backwards far enough to break at the hinge. When I placed the earbuds in the charging case they didn’t feel like they were sitting right. Usually an earbud will attach magnetically with such strength that it feels like it’s being sucked into the case, making sure it lands in the perfect place to take a charge, but the attraction here is unusually weak. It always feels as if the buds are just being placed in approximately the right position, and I feel I have to wait until the charging lights turn on to be certain they’re charging. Now onto the fit, which... good God. Yes, these things fit in my ears, but they don’t feel like they belong there. The earpieces feel oddly elongated, designed for someone with an ear canal about 20% wider than mine, and they just feel... odd. I wore them for about half an hour while testing, and while they didn’t cause pain or fatigue I was glad when I took them out. They’re not terrible, but they’re not comfortable either. As for pairing, these things came with zero battery so I had to give them a charge first. For whatever reason the right earbud didn’t charge first time so I started with the left, and when the right finally had enough juice to test it paired as an entirely separate device than the left, which meant the left bud stopped working as my iPad can only pair with one Bluetooth audio device at a time. To rectify this I had to remove both devices, restart them and re-pair them, after which they worked together. Side note: this isn’t a huge complaint. I have a much bigger issue with wireless earbuds that can’t be used individually, as I like to listen to music through one bud as I fall asleep. Finally, sound quality. These earbuds sound exactly as you’d expect a pair of $30 earbuds to sound. In fact they sound exactly as I’d expect the cheapest pair of off brand earbuds bought from a market stall to sound. The nicest thing I can think to say about them is that they’re functional. They will produce sound. That sound won’t be noticeably distorted.I hate to say it, but if your budget for a pair of wireless earbuds only stretches to $30 I couldn’t recommend that you try these. I’d recommend any of the half dozen pairs available from a brand such as Anker or Skullcandy at this price point.

It's ok to use it for listening only, making phone call is not recommended due to weak microphone.
I got it for $29.99, very happy for the price point. The appearance and build quality is good. What I don't like about it are the microphone seems to be weak, I had to speak louder than average normal voice, or else the person on the other end can't really hear what I said. On the left ear of these earbuds, there is always a ticking noise when it's in standby mode, it's really soft but I can definitely hear it and it's annoying especially in a quiet environment. Small things I don't like about it is the constant flashing lights when it's paired and standby. Besides, the connection at charging case is not very solid, closing the lid a bit harder or softer might affect it.
