The projects look awesome. The instructions are clear, with every step represented by a color photo. The items needed for each project are not only listed but illustrated photographically, as well. Each project comes with a section on real-world application and a description of the science behind how the object works. That said, the cost of purchasing all the necessary equipment and tools for a large group of students is somewhat daunting. You may need to be creative in requesting funds and/or donations of necessary supplies. However, once the basics are in place, many other projects besides those presented in the book are possible. Making tool use attractive to girls is an important element; Amazon has a wide variety of tools available in pink! This book is highly recommended for giving older students a variety of valuable experiences in the science of making related to electronics.
