iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit - Electronics, Smartphone, Computer & Tablet Repair Kit

I have a 10-year old Dell laptop that needed fixing. It started with a hard drive failure. So, I decided to replace the hard drive instead of buying a new laptop. In addition, I needed to replace the keyboard and power button and cable that were giving me problems. This toolkit was perfect for my needs. The laptop, itself has lots of screws that needed to be removed to open up the computer. Also, the keyboard needed to be removed to fully get to the inside of the computer. This toolkit had all that I needed to remove the components of the laptop. Contrary to other reviewers, I found the screw driver bits to be magnetic, which was a big bonus given the small size of the screws and deep recesses to where they attach to the computer. The kit has plenty of driver bits for almost any job. I found that they were quality made and did not strip the screw or the driver head, itself. It also contains some pry tools, suction cups (good for mobile phones), and an anti-static strap that you should use to avoid any electrostatic charges that could wreck your components. All-in-all, this toolkit gave me everything I needed to repair my laptop. Instead of spending $2000 on a new laptop, I purchased a new 1 TB hard drive for $50, a new keyboard for $25, and a new power button and cable for another $25. Add to that the price of this toolkit, and I spent a total of $150 to repair my laptop. It took just an hour or so of my time to install the new hardware and to install a clean version of Windows 10 from a USB drive. Now, my laptop is running like new and should last another 10 years or so. This is a quality repair kit and well-worth the money, even though I did not find the cost to be expensive in the first place.

This kit has everything I need for working on small electronics. The screwdriver is high quality and the bits have a good magnetic hold. I highly recommend this kit for anyone that has to work with PCs or other small electronics.

Yo, this tech tool kit is sick! It's got everything you need to fix your tech, build a PC, and more. It even comes with some cool stickers and drivers for those hard-to-reach screws. I highly recommend it. It's a great value for the money, and the magnetic strength is on point. The drivers are a good size and fit the bits perfectly.

I bought this set for my son to build and repair computers and he finds them very useful. He said there is a bit, tool or gadget for every screw or fastener he has run across, as well the smaller parts that are hard to get to. Recently he even fixed my eye glasses with one of the tiny screwdrivers. He said anything he needed was there when he needed it - and the case is perfect and had a specific place for all of the pieces.

Purchased after reading about it and seeing several on youtube using it....my need is to repair old 64G iphone SE to recover data...the kit appears a very well thought out combination of tools and packaging for the purpose. I love quality tools and am impressed with this kit, looking forward to mend a couple old phones.
