A product that holds up its end of the bargain
The product has one job, and it does it well. For example, when you flip your lights switch, the receivers’ lamps are turned on with no perceivable delay and no audible clicking noise of a relay being switched.The rotary switch user interface is simple and satisfying to use. You can tell that real thought went into designing this product.My only wish is that the product isn’t limited to “switched outlets”. It would be great if the device could be plugged into a normal outlet, and be triggered by electrical current. For example, a transmitting switcheroo is plugged into a regular outlet, with a floor lamp then plugged into that. When the floor lamp is manually turned on, the switcheroo detects the flow of current into the lamp, and then signals to receivers to turn on.

I’m pretty picky about what I buy; everything has to work as intended and be high quality or I get annoyed. This product is the real deal, and the only thing like it I could find. Much better than trying to rip out drywall and run wires. I converted a wall switch that operates an overhead light into turning on a pair of lamps across my living room by using a light socket to outlet converter and the Switcheroo. I’d buy again. I hope it lasts.

Makes life easy without running extension cords all over the place.
This is the second batch of 5 that I have purchased. They are not cheap, but particularly if you have an older home and rearranged things so that an outlet operated by a wall switch is no longer in the best location for lighting, these switcheroo units are very helpful. I have not found anything else quite like them on the market. It is also useful to connect them to turn on 3 or 4 lights at once from one switch. They are a bit clunky looking, but not too obtrusive, and work well for us in 3 different rooms.

Does the job
Plug one into the switched outlet and another into a outlet across the room. Super easy and great way to add light on a switch.
