Q: How many total pages (coin and currency) can this fit when fully expanded? Would it fit 200+ currency with additional pages?

Each page allows 3 bills. So you are looking at 67 pages if you wish 1 bill in each slot. If you go back to back, then you would need 34 pages which would still be too much for the folder.

Q: Will standard 3 hole 8.5 X 11 sheet protectors work with the D rings in the binder?

Yes, the sheet protectors will fit in the d-rings, however, the protectors do stick out of the side of the binder.

Q: Are these made out of mylar?

I don't think so. But the mylar I am familiar with is helium balloons and food storage bags. These are a clear plastic similar to the pliable thick plastic you might get in a wallet's ID panel. Pretty sturdy; a coin filled sheet holds its shape well.
