I knew from the only other review to expect “small,” but this was laughable. Based on the dimensions listed in the product details (which are 100% false), I was expecting something about the size of a small chicken egg. Instead I got a quail egg. No exaggeration. It’s barely over an inch all around. It’s smaller than a standard charcoal disc, so you can’t even use it to burn pinches of herbs. And it is impossible to fit a standard cone inside. Upon looking back to the question section after it arrived I see that the vendor suggested that you could cut a cone to fit(?!)…I’m sorry, but who wants to do that? And anyway, I tried, but it’s so cramped in there the lack of oxygen snuffs the stubby little cone anyway.I will say, begrudgingly, that is is darling as heck and seems well made. So if you’re interested in miniatures, go for it. My wedding ring wouldn’t even fit inside, so I am still looking for ways to repurpose it beyond a pretty little bauble to display on my altar. Maybe the cremated remains of an acorn?

Can confirm other reviews noting tiny size and wish I had read them first. This is indeed adorable, but somewhat useless. I legitimately LOL’d when I opened the package and definitely felt like I had been Amazon punked. Note: 2”x2” product description is the size of the box it comes in, not the product itself, which is about half that size.

The item is cute its TINY!!! Exquisite detail but awful for cone incense…way too short/shallow for an average cone to fit in unless it is nearly done. Thank goodness I have other holders because this one will be solely for decoration.
