Q: Are these safe for glasstop stove?

Not sure what you mean by "safe". I'm using these on my induction cook top, which has a glossy flat top glass like surface. I think if you slide them around a lot, on your glass cook top, there will be some scratching. On an induction cook top, you can put silicone disks on the top, which protects the surface. But that is for "induction" only. Induction has no coil burner, which gets hot. It uses electro-magnetism to heat the pot or pan. Therefore, the cook top doesn't get really very hot. A glass top cook top with a coil type burner under the glass that heats up and you can see it glowing red hot, does get hot and will melt or burn items placed on top of it. So, answer to to your question; the cookware is safe to use on either type cook top. Sliding it around, a lot, will result in scratching, as will happen with any cookware on a glass top surface. Hope this helps. Oh, so far, I like this cookware. Well made.
