Boxing Protection Lacks
Ordered this Mishimoto MMRAD-F2D-60 Performance Aluminum Radiator Compatible With Ford 6.0 Powerstroke and received it damaged. Amazon sent a replacement at no cost. It was also received damaged. The box/radiator has foam in the corners only. The sides and face are unprotected, except for the 2inches of space between the outer box and the foam corners centering the radiator itself within the box.The damage was on both sides of the core same as stated by another customer. The box was compressed on the sides allowing damage/denting to the core, bending the core tubes up to the second/third rows and crushing the cooling fins between. I called Mishimoto and they claimed it was an Amazon packaging issue. I returned both purchases to Amazon and ordered directly from Mishimoto explaining the packaging/damage issue (cost was listed as the same on Amazon and Mishimoto, but the Mishimoto website offered a 5% discount, and their delivery was 10 days difference). Mishimoto said they would package better for my order. I wasn't in a great hurry, so I tested their statement to package better. The third 3rd radiator came in the same packaging. No difference between Amazon and Mishimoto. The 3rd radiator from Mishimoto also had damage, same as the previous two, but was nowhere near the amount from Amazon. If you're paying over $800 for a product, that requires a lot of effort to install and needs to hold fluid to ensure you vehicle doesn't overheat, the packaging for shipping shouldn't be the minimum effort to save a few pennies on extra foam to protect this very expensive purchase/component.Other than the frustration of ordering/returning and having $1600 dollars wrapped up in two different orders (awaiting Amazon refund for the first radiator and ordering a 3rd from Mishimoto), the radiator fit is great and the install was quick. This does sit higher than the OEM, but the hood does close and doesn't interfere. A good drop-in replacement upgrade to the original OEM plastic. No leaks and looks solid. Only installed for a day now, but confident this radiator is a good product. Boxing lacks and shipping damage occurs, but shipping damage on all three were all on the the unprotected sides.

Received 2 damaged radiators
I ordered this radiator for my 04 6.0 powerstroke because my stock one cracked. I went with the full aluminum one so we don’t have this issue again. And the first radiator arrived the box it came in had some damages. But I didn’t think much of it because I opened the top and seen the packing inside. But 2 days later when I took it out I noticed the radiator is only packed at the corners. The rest of the radiator is only protected by box it’s self and a sheet of cardboard equally thick as the box. There was a dent to the first row of fins. The fins were crushed into the next row. Being that I paid over $800 I felt I should return it. Didn’t even wait for my refund and bought a 2nd radiator. Same exact damage on the 2nd one. But this time there’s no damage to the box or the extra piece of cardboard. I contacted Mishimoto about this quality issue. And that I believe whoever is packing the radiators is using too much clamping power on the strap that holds the cardboard in side. They could care less. They offered to send me a repair tool. Told me to bring it up with Amazon. So I did. I wish I could say I stand behind mishimoto. But I can’t. Nice to know after I spent $2k on all their equipment.

Superior product
This radiator is the second one I have purchased from Amazon. My first was for a different different part number for my 2002 F250 7.3 diesel. This one was for my Wife's 2007 F250 6.0 Diesel. Both arrived without damage and were a perfect fit. These products "Radiators" are top of the line, a little on the pricey side but well worth it.Buy one.

Not perfect, but a great value for the upgrade
A couple of problems with this radiator. The box wasnt damaged but had normal shipping marks on it. The top was no longer stapled but it had two straps holding it closed. When the radiator was removed from the box to install, it was clearly twisted as can be seen in the picture. I assume that is a shipping related issue. However the radiator is also appears to be an inch too tall. It is setting all the way down on the rubber pads but sits up an inch higher than the stock radiator and is too tall for the radiator hold downs. 1 star for quick delivery and 1 star for easy exchange process. If the new one arrives undamaged and fits I will revise to 4 stars, otherwise it will be returned for a full refund and I will purchase a radiator from another manufacturer.UPDATE: 11/1/18The replacement radiator arrived 4 days after the request was placed, with one of those days being a Sunday. I thought that was very reasonable. Like the past box, this box had some scuffs and scrapes from shipping, but looked to be in good shape. Once the radiator was out of the box, it was checked for flatness. The replacement radiator did have a bit of a twist in it, maybe 1/4" to 3/8", but a LOT less than the first radiator which was 1" - 1.5". Talking to one of the Powerstoke techs in my area, he said they had noticed that issue with the Mishimoto radiators. I recommend buyers check the radiator they receive before bolting it in place. I also reviewed some of the online videos Mishimoto had closer to see where the top of their radiator was in relation to the upper radiator support. Note, this radiator does sit higher than the stock radiator. The stock stays sit at a noticeably steeper angle with this radiator than with the stock radiator. It doesnt appear to cause any interference issues with any other items, such as the fan to fan shroud, so I cannot say it is "too tall". Just a little taller than stock, maybe 1/2" taller. Didnt measure, just eyeballin it. As far as quality and performance, it seems to be a good piece. Fully TIG welded. The mounting posts, necks and shroud posts all lined up to factory pieces. The threaded bungs for the transmission lines were clean. Note, for the earlier 2003-2004.5 you will need to pull the line adapters out of the stock radiator and install them in the new radiator. Almost let the original radiator head off to the recycle bin before I caught that minor detail. The weather has cooled but after some initial test drives, my truck seems to be running about 10* cooler than it was previously with the stock radiator before it split one of the plastic end caps. I am revising my rating to 4.5 stars. The excessive twist in the first radiator and then the more minor twist in the 2nd leads me to believe Mishimoto may need to take a look at their fabrication process. However, overall these are a solid pieces and should provide many years of reliable service.

Should have done this years ago to my 03 Excursion!
I should have done this years ago. My OE radiator started leaking so I ordered this radiator. My temps are noticeably lower and recover faster. 65mph on the interstate pulling a 9k toy hauler, I had coolant in the 190s. Easy install. All transmission connectors worked for my 03 Excursion.
