My own fault as I didn't check the sizing, just saw the great reviews and went ahead after looking for what felt like weeks. Was rather surprised to see just how small it was and didn't feel the sturdiest. I'm sure those who do a lot of wax pouring will be fine with this, but I had a lot (2000+ seals in 9 different colours) to do in a short space of time and think it would've taken an age with the size. Ended up going with an ice cream scoop just because it was easier to get a hold of, held more and cheaper.

Melted easily and sets really well too. It was advised to use 3-4 beads per seal but because of the quantity of envelopes I had, I was a bit tight and only used 2 beads to make the pack go further. Personally 2 beads for a 1 inch stamp was perfect! Will be buying more for my formal invitations!

A great quality spoon, and super design which allows the spoon to rest level, thanks to the cleverly bent handle. The bowl is wide and flat-bottomed and allows for even heating of a good sized piece of wax (at least 1cm cut from a standard stick, allows for big seals). Solidly made, and considerably better quality than the other cheaper spoons I have used. Definitely worth the extra few pounds.

The spoon is so easy to use for sealing my was stamps. The coating on it allows you to wipe it clean so quickly and efficiently. I don’t have to reheat it as per some spoons! The flat base is great for when you put it down to apply your stamp. I won’t be using any other spoon for my sealing wax stamps :)

I love this cute spoon. The package is elegant and the quality of the product is not disappointing. It can hold the right amount of beads for a stamp. The arm of the spoon could get warm at touch if you make more than 5 stamps, but it won’t burn your fingers. Quite easy to clean also.
