Wow. We have been building replica movie props and costumes as a hobby for quite some time now. I have tried a few DIY light up eye lenses for my MK5 helmet. Nothing comes close to these. The flexibility of the material made it very easy to install it into the face mask. Also it was very easy to trim. The ease of shaping and trimming although does not mean it’s flimsy. It is maybe 3/16 to 1/8 thick silicone like material. The wiring seems well attached as well. You can clearly see through these when they are off but if turning it on in a dark room it’s hard to see out. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. My only recommendation would be to sell a version that does not have the battery box as I cut mine off to hardwire it to an arduino. Either way great product and will buy again.

Great addition to my Batman helmet. Makes me look like LEGO Batman in the real world. Battery pack is a little bigger than I’d hoped but I’ll deal with that. Also I can barely see when the lights are turned on, but that was expected. Overall, very satisfied.

It does its job. The lights are pretty bright and installation was super easy. Only problem I have( that was expected) was that it’s super difficult to see through it when the lights are on. You can see maybe 2 feet in front of you( if you’re in a dark place). During the day tho it’s not that bad

I ordered 2 sets of the LED eye covers, by accident, I plan to use both but have only used 1 so far. I found that the first set had a protective covering over both sides of the lenses. While removing the protective cover I found that the temporary adhesive holding the covering on was very messy. The adhesive smeared on the lens a bit, causing a blurry area on one end. It was about the same time that the LED for one lens came out completely. The other lens' LED came out soon after the first. They weren't held in by much at all, if anything. I ended up using a hot glue gun to secure the leds back in the correct location. There's also a reflective metallic strip around the outside edge of the lenses, that's not adhered very well, also. I was able to get these to work with a little extra effort, but it was extra work that the buyer shouldn't have to do.

These are awesome. I used them for a helmet i 3d printed. I fitted them into the eyes of the helmet. Cant really see very well through them but cool effect.

Ordered 2 sets, 1st pair the red wire came disconnected on the inside of the battery pack, 2nd pair the led just fell out of the lens and won’t stay in, if I don’t throw it away I’ll have to try and use superglue to fix it

This was a really fun piece of tech to work with. My only grievances is that it’s hard to see through in dark areas but that just makes sense given the strength of the light vs the darkness of an area. But otherwise, in a sunny day outside it’s very manageable. The lights work and can be seen fairly well in bright areas. Love this product and will be purchasing more for more helmets that I’ll create.

did what i expected, slightly short in length doesn't quite cove an iron man helmet eyes. bright enough and flexible it will be good for other builds, well made and durable.

Used these in a 3D Printed Iron Man helmet I put together as a gift. Glued the eyes inside the helmet with a little crazy glue, added couple of magnets to install the battery pack inside the chin piece to allow for battery changes. Looks great, and easy to see through for the wearer (just slightly less so with the lights on).
