Great product
This fits the wpld12 perfectly (I'm assuming with all d series made by WPL). The quality isn’t bad, and as some other reviews have said it takes a little bit of sanding to smooth everything down just a smidge (you get what you pay for). The gears are metal and bare, so I’d recommend some grease (not oil, it will leak), otherwise it becomes a tad noisy and makes me worry about longevity if I don’t. The contrast in red and black is nice, makes it feel like it’s a proper upgrade. The driveshaft is ok, but if you don’t put some loc tight on the screw it will come out, EVERY TIME. Over all it’s a good upgrade from stock, I’d def recommend it

Let elbow grease.
The quality of this product is not the greatest. It is an improvement over the stock plastic axle.No grease in the diff and super gritty. No oil in bearings.Spent some time leveling the halves and cleaning the casting marks. Bought proper pinion shims to replace the washer. After some filing it is butter smooth. Overall for the money it is expected quality.

Garbage!
Rear diff already stated skipping after the first use I do not recommend this item for anyone. For starters the drive shaft has these tiny Allen bolts that strip very easily and wasn't a big issue but the following has now happened the rear diff is skipping causing it to spin the shaft but wheels aren't spinning. At the end of the day horrible product and a waste of your money. (Was professionally installed)

It worked
It was exactly what my sons truck needed. It sized up as promised and the toy still runs well. It was definitely more affordable to get the part then a new truck.

Poorly finish
Axle housings poorly finished and didn’t sit flush together, heavy sanding was needed. Suspension mount-threads don’t match on the each half of axle to threads where damaged with a cross-thread and possibly a ceased fastener.
