Small flipper
I like this little pocket knife, I bought it because there description showed this blade is a D2 metal , THIS BLADE IS NOT A D2 , I cut a small piece of cardboard, the blade is showing scratching , D2 blades do not scratch 😢

Hefty and Better Made than Expected; No Spring Assist
I like pocket knives and I was interested in this one when I saw it was available. It is not the very best knife I own but it is very workable and the price is reasonable. This is a heavy, fat knife for its size and that came as a minor surprise. It's a bit more beefy than most pocket knifes I have owned, and I like the weight in my hand. I wouldn't consider this cumbersome. The blade is a flat-edge and wide blade that is suitable for working as a box cutter but also working well for cutting rope, fabric, small branches in a pinch and more. I like the thumb assist to flip out the blade which makes opening the knife easier. The handle is interesting - it is listed as being fiberglass but it feels like a resin handle instead.Right out of the package, this knife had an odor that was reminiscent of a scented candle someone would light at Christmas time. It actually smelled like cinnamon. It has started to fade now, but it was such a surprise when I took the knife out of the box.Build quality seems to be good. Some of the other reviewers have commented that the locking mechanism is faulty so I specifically looked at that. My particular knife seems to be fine in that regard and I see no degredation or even minor issues with the lock. The blade does not wobble in the handle either which is a problem I have seen with a lot of inexpensive knives. The fasteners are tight and there are no gaps in the handle assembly. The one thing I would change with this knife is that I would add a spring assist to the swing-out action. The thumb assist does a good job of getting it open, but a spring would carry it the rest of the way.Overall I am satisfied with this knife. It seems to be made well and it has a good weight to it. Other than no spring assist, I have no complaints so far.

A tank of a knife
This is a big knife in a small package. My lock works fine as long as I flip the blade open like I am trying to break it! The blade design allows for some very detailed cutting and trimming.

Not what you think
Looks cool and low priced but NOT WORTH IT. The detent ball fell out the first day I had it. Now it is no longer a folder because it will not stay shut.

Danger
Well, I have used knives most all of my life, and have never owned a knife that does not lock and only has a slight click that it is open. One has to be very very careful in handling and using this knife properly, that the blade does not come back on the hand and fingers. There is a finger curve in the tang portion that really needs to be used to prevent a slip back and even at that, if enough pressure is applied in cutting there is movement. I consider this to be a dangerous knife for anything more than opening up a paper strip of tape. I cut a box and had this happen easily. Sad design!

This is a nice blade and a great value for the money!
First off this is a chungus of a knife with a 1/4 thick blade on it. I mean this thing is indestructible I have put it through its paces and haver had zero issues with it. The hole in blade and the groove in the handle are perfectly placed for an amazingly strong grip. The lock is very strong and reliable, I have had zero issues with accidental closures. There's nice deep jibbing at the start of the blade that allows a nice grip to choke up on the blade. The scales on the handle are done nicely with good stippling, although I do not believe it is real g-10 it is very nice to hold and feels very secure when gripping. My only complaint is that it was shipped dull to the point where it would barely be able to widdle a stick, much less help in an emergency situation. This isn't too big of a deal to me personally as I quite enjoy sharpening my own equipment anyways, but not everyone is comfortable doing that, so I took one star off. Other than needing a good sharpening, this is a great little carry piece that I have carried quite often myself. For the money this is a great buy, and I fully recommend you hit that helpful button and order yourself one right now.

A nice addition to the collection
A bit different than most of the other nights available on Amazon. It stands out in my collection for sure. Blade quality seems pretty good, not sure how long the edge will keep cuz I don't use my blades like that. Aesthetically pleasing it is though

A good throwaway.
The first time I opened the blade, the liner lock didn't engage, allowing the blade to fold back down. Each subsequent time, it has engaged, but the shape of it makes it hard to disengage, and the locking tang is only half the thickness of the blade, so I question how long it will continue to work.Overall the proportions are awkward. Takes up more space in your pocket than its utility seems worth. The folding mechanism is solid, and the handle is pleasantly chunky. It opens with one hand fairly easily. If I needed a knife that I didn't mind losing..? Maybe something to toss in the river after the job was done? Ok, this is pretty good. It's not going in my EDC rotation though.
