Avedis Zildjian Company S Series Mastersound Hi-Hat Cymbals - 13 Inches

Purchased as a gift for my boyfriend. He likes the Zildjian brand and loves them.

I tried everything cheaper and ended up with these as the cheapest thing that sounds and records like hihats. Heavy and focused but mellow enough to not get on one’s nerves. The rock and mastersound versions I think would get on my nerves.Zildjian has a demo video for the S line you can search for which should make it clear how nice and versatile the vanilla 14” S are. I also think Zildjian are the only makers of a real hihat sound but that’s my history of playing them for 40 years and never being tempted away.Another thing that’s nice is using these as a bottom hat for thinner tops. Focuses the sound and removes a lot of pitch bend.

The price was amazing. The hi-hats (ordered 2 sets) were perfect. They arrived very quickly.

I have several sets of Hi-hat cymbals. This one will likely become my favorite for live rock.

Has a great sound for jazz or vintage, they are great for live performances,also a very clear chic. I also use Zildjian A’s in tandem with S ride and high hats. Together they make a great all around sound.

Have a real nice sound to them for the price I paid. The S series seems to be a really good quality symbol for the price if you’re looking to not spend a lot of money on cymbals!

Great hi hats for the money.

They will do until I can get something better, now that I know a little bit more I wish I had bought secondhand real caste drum cymbal with better tone and musicality.

The media could not be loaded.  This is classic hi hat. It sounds perfect and within budget. I am very much satisfied with this product. It is not that gret like A or K but way better than ZBT.
