great item when making long trips to the woods

Man this thing is nice, but, it could be better (and I've emailed the company about it). Lets start with why you need it. Because lugging your bow in your hand in the dark is a pain. And even though you're strong, lugging it hundreds of yards makes it get heavy. So, enter the sling. Does it hang on the shoulder and free up your hands? Yes. Kind of. With some issues.Lets start out with early season bow hunting, typically a light outer layer. The sling will say in place on your shoulder easily. But, when you get to windproof/waterproof material, this sling does not stay in place and you'll constantly fight with it on your trek into the woods. It desperately needs to have some silicone sticky pads or something to prevent it from sliding. If you're a rifle or shotgun hunter and your sling doesn't have anti slip material, you know how annoying this is.But, once you fight with it getting into the tree, you then get to deal with unlatching it. Simple, tear the top velcro and let the bottom dangle out of the way. Or, if you're like me and slightly OCD, you can't have that and rip them both off and stuff it in your pack until it's time to go.I wish adjusting the straps to hang slightly lower as well.All in all, a good product, but, needs some enhancements.

I have carried my bow for the last 20 years and decided to try a sling. It was awesome. Easy to remove, comfortable and appeared to be made well. About a hour in my bow fell off my shoulder. The stitching failed. We all pay a lot of money for our equipment and tons of time into getting everything dialed in. I am going to make the seller aware and I’ll post an update if they have a plan to resolve this and the outcome of my situation. Other than the stitching failing and dropping my bow.... it was nice.

This is an extremely good value for what you are paying for it. I would have paid double for the product because of the fact that A) it is durable and well made. Isn't going to rip or fall apart. I love this sling. and just as important, B) I don't have to take the sling off to shoot it. Just reach up and disconnect the top buckle, the sling drops and hangs from the bottom but doesn't interfere with the cams. This means I can go from sling over shoulder to shooting position in about a second or so. String an arrow in another second or two and am ready to take the shot within 2-3 seconds from carry position. Awesome design. I actually ordered another one as backup in case the velcro wears out eventually.

First, I like the connectors it comes with. Those latches feel strong and it's easy to attach to the bow. The shoulder pad is also nice.The problem is how short it is. At full length, the bow would rest on my side ABOVE my hip. The model in that picture must be significantly shorter than I am, because there was no way to sit the bow comfortably. I ended up taking the latches and shoulder pad and making a paracord strap for them. Otherwise it's nice, but if you're 6' or taller you'll find it quite small.
