Doubtful. It is nice for an inexpensive watch, but there is nothing about it that would indicate water or shock resistance. If anything it is a little on the fragile side.

Only if you have a tardis to bring it into will not survive outside on its own

Q: Once the battery stops working, is there a way to change the battery?

Yes . I think it is a 377 watch battery. The back can be opened to change the battery. Hope this helps.
