Do it for yourself.
I was nervous that this might burn my skin, but it never has. It doesn't burn or irritate at all. My skin is smoother and younger looking. I'm 66.

Pricey but works great
I love this peel. I’ve been using for a few years now.

Pricey for small results
I know everyone’s skin is different and will react differently so that’s my reasoning for 4 stars while being more harsh about my personal opinion of this peel. Normally I would probably make it 3 stars but I do understand that maybe I didn’t see the benefits I wanted because it wasn’t meant for my skin.I have really naturally oily skin so I thought a weekly peep mask would benefit me by helping out my pores as well as correcting some Sun damage I have (lots of freckles).Extremely easy to use since it’s just a pad filled with the retinol and other ingredients. About week 2 I started to notice a visible peel in my skin that was kind of just like dried skin that flaked off in areas like my nose creases and my chin. I also noticed my skin was maybe a tiny bit softer days after using. Every week after week 2 my skin would continue to peel a day after and then be fine from there. I do not have sensitive skin but I could see how this would bother people that did. The only physical feelings I had were maybe a soft tingle of warmth on my face after using but no redness or itchiness.Other than I didn’t have any miracle benefits that would garner me to continue to spend $79 for 6 weeks of “treatments”. .3% retinol is a pretty average amount but for the price I think it should’ve had more to really make any benefits come through.

Effective
I'd say this is a product for experienced skincare fans. Retinol here is moderately strong, so there is a chance of burning your skin. Save this set for winter when you are not as exposed to the sun. And if you are a beginner, do a sandwich method and layer this retinol in between two layers of moisturizer. I like the effect this product has on my skin, and will continue using it in future.

Great mid-level treatment but pricey for quantity
I have compared this to a similar peel product that had more pads for a similar price point. I do wish this had more as I might use it more frequently. My skin has a higher tolerance to a lot of these products so I did not experience any discomfort using it. After use I found that my skin was smoother and softer. This was not as effective as Neostrata at brightening dark spots but the results otherwise were nothing to turn up your nose at.It's a fantastic product but if you are expecting the same results as you would from a facial by a pro, this might be a little disappointing.INGREDIENTS: Alcohol Denat., Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate,Triethyl Citrate, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Butyloctyl Salicylate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinol, Bisabolol, Polysorbate 20, BHT.

Effective
EXUVIANCE Pure Retinol Correcting Peel Weekly At-Home Chemical Peel For Dark Spots, 6 ct.This is an effective level of retinol to see results but I didn't find it irritating or overly drying. You use one peel per week and the retinol helps brighten and even skin tone, lessen the look of fine lines and wrinkles and firm skin. You absolutely must wear sunblock every day when using retinols, so keep that in mind. The pre-soaked pads are a very convenient way to perform the peels. Appropriate for most skin types, but if you have sensitive skin or broken skin, it may be too strong for you.

Initial Review: With .3% Retinol This Is A Moderate Retinol Peel Product.
Just going to point out to "Johnny" that the amount of Retinol in this product IS listed... right on the front of the box and the packets. If "Johnny" had actually done his homework (as I did) he would know that at .3% Retinol, this is product is considered to be on the high end of a *moderate* peel/low end of a high-strength product.* Low-strength Retinol – 0.01% to 0.03% (what you will get in regular OTC products)* Moderate-strength Retinol – 0.03% to 0.3% (This product is .3% ... A controlled clinical trial published in March 2015 further confirmed results from older studies showing that 0.1% retinol improves multiple signs of ageing in eight weeks, with cumulative results over the course of a year.* High-strength Retinol – 0.3%-1%* Citrafill is a nonacid Citric Acid compound that targets skin’s natural firming collagen. From what I can find, 10% is a reasonably strong amount. So, according to what the ingredients are *supposed* to do, at this strength, this product should begin to show results in 8 weeks. Sadly, there are only 6 weeks of pads in this set. I think it would be smart to at least have the full 8 weeks worth so that people would have the best chance to see any potential improvements.I just did my first application. I had no irritation or issues with it but I rarely react to things like this. The product goes on easily but takes awhile to soak in (probably thanks to the glycerin that they use to carry it). There is a mild scent but it's not due to any added perfumes/scents...it's just the smell of the ingredients. (see photo for ingredients, which ARE listed on the back of the box. The % is listed on the front). At 60 I need to care more for my skin so I hope this will have some visible results by the time I finish the box. If I have any discoveries (good or bad) I'll come back when the box is done and update.
