Atomic Rooster: The Ultimate Anthology - In 1969, keyboardist Vincent Crane founded one of the great keyboard-driven bands: Atomic Rooster. Numerous re-shuffles within the group, including Carl Palmer, helped Atomic Rooster to gain immense popularity with the 1971 release of Tomorrow Night and The Devil's Answer. This performance DVD contains rare footage from 1972 with singer Chris Farlowe, who joined from Colosseum, and highlights Crane's incomparable keyboard playing, which to this day still maintains it's intensity.

Rooster Lives!
This may be what the title suggests...all the existing Atomic Rooster television footage. It encompasses the 1972 Belgium TV show with the Made in England band that was previously issued as Masters from the Vaults plus 3 Beat Club performances-2 with the Death Walks Behind You band and 1 with the Chris Farlowe band doing Breakthrough (which is also in the Belgium set). For someone who has never seen any Atomic Rooster footage before, this is truly the Ultimate Anthology. I loved this band back then, and they live up to their reputation with this live set!

Vital for any fan of the Rooster
Excellent compilation of available video recordings of the mighty Atomic Rooster. Classic songs performed by various incarnations of the band. It's great to see Crane, Parnell, Du Cann, and others in action and doing what they do best. A criminally underappreciated band who never got the recognition they more than deserved. Top musicianship.

Briliant footage for a big fan! A definate must for your collection. Cant beat Chris Farlowes vocals and Vince Kranes organ playing
