Takes some fiddling, but overall a very good 12V fridge/freezer
Cools very fast. When I first received the unit, I was a little disappointed with the temperature control inside. The sensors were not accurate when it came to actual air temperature. However, after discovering that this is a rebranded Alpicool TWW55, I downloaded the app specific to the T series and was able to see all of the configurable items such as left and right hysteresis and temperature compensation.By default this unit was set at the factory for -5F temperature compensation! It should be set to 0F and the adjusted if needed. By setting it to 0F, the thermostat read the right internal temp. It took some tweaking with the hysteresis (amount above and below threshold it allows before turning on/off the compressor) and compensation, but I was able to get it so that the temperature never exceeds 40F for food safety. 2F hysteresis and -1F TC did the trick, setting the thermostat to 36F.The temperature variance inside the unit is quite wide, mainly because the unit cools so fast and the thermostat takes a while to catch up. As a result, it does not stop cooling when the actual temperature gets to the lower bound of the hysteresis setting and it easily gets below freezing (as low as 27F before turning off). This is not a huge deal for liquids and solids such as meat, as it takes much longer for them to be affected vs air. However, be advised that if you store stuff like salads that contain leafy things like lettuce, there is the possibility of it freezing. Cabbage, spinach and kale based salads don't freeze. Lettuce does fairly quickly. The one thing I have not tried yet is setting it to eco. Eco uses less power to cool the unit, so Im hoping that allows the temperature sensors to catch up so that it cuts the compressor in time before it drops below freezing. I will update this post if it works. All in all, happy with my purchase and glad that it came with the battery. It switches seamlessly from AC/DC power to battery.Update: I figured out why I had such wide temperature swings. The temperature sensors appear to be at the bottom of each zone and if you put something that insulates that sensor on the bottom the sensor cannot get an accurate reading. In my case it was a foam food tray. Once I removed that and made sure there is air flow to the bottom of the refrigeration zone, the temps stabilized immediately. Now stays between 34F-38F exactly with thermostat set to 36F with 2 degrees hysteresis and left TC of -2F.Always make sure that you aren't insulating/blocking air flow from the bottom of each zone with food or drinks and it works great! Just arrange stuff so that air can get to the bottom.Changed to 5 stars.

Not a good investment as i thought
Went camping for 10 days expecting to be setup just right but the cooler didn’t work… I did a product run before my trip everything was fine but once camping the cooler didn’t cool at all nor freeze… plugged it into my generator it worked for a couple hours and started to heat up out of no where. plugged it into my car and did the same thing… lost some food because of this and had to get ice for the remainder of my trip… but will be sending this item back :(

This portable fridge with lithium battery is the best camping investment we ever made!!
I was super excited when it came. My wife and I go camping a lot so having a portable fridge with lithium battery is a definite must. You no longer have to worry about ice melting, or if the dirty ice water will get into your food. It is taller than I had expected but it wasn’t that big of a deal since it still fits in our Subi Outback. Ione thing that I love is that it’s versatile. You can keep it as a separate freezer and fridge or you can have one solid fridge or freezer. My wife loves her ice cream so we keep the divider in place so that he can have her ice cream while camping which we were never able to do with a regular cooler. I also like the fact that I can control the settings on my phone. When we went camping with it for the first time we cooled it down by plugging it into our home the night before. While camping we hooked it up to our solar panels and it worked great for hours!!! We did go out to the beach once and without any plugs i was so happily surprised to be able to enjoy a popsicle after 6 hours in the sun.. and still our fruits and veggies fresh and plump no mush from sitting in water! Your car battery is another power option to keep your fridge running. You just use the lighter adapter to power it up. We also use the fridge when we host people. Instead of using a cooler we take the center divide out and pile it up with drinks. I think this is the best camping investment we ever made!!!!

Temps not holding steady Mayne defective
Ok trying to contact seller....received item last week let it sit for 12hrs before turning to allow then compressor contents to settle. Powerd up set Temps to 38 and 2...Temps came down quickly...so far so good...the added water bottles to both sides and closed the door...Temps in house is at 78f...the unit has plenty ventilation. I noticed the Temps going up and down frequently without opening the door. I decided to set both sides to 35 and haven't open the door now for a few days. The three pictures are all within an hour or two...so I'm wondering if my unit is defective? Seller please contact me. The box only had a label that said fragile I could tell the way the delivery guy brought it off the truck wasn't handled as fragile...please contact me to help resolve

Is this the right app to control the cooler?

Great value and features Directions such
So far I tested this fridge with a 600watt battery combined with the internal battery. I was able to get continuous 55hrs dial compartment @40degrees and the other @31degrees. So functional. You can connect a solar panel directly to the cooler which is a game changer. Built in cutting board You can flip the cover to open on either side. Lcd screen that locks the touch functions. Basket trays inside. I like that you can tweak the time when the cooler kicks back on but there’s really no instruction so don’t mess with it. Bottle opener and wheels makes this thing awesome. Some item I disliked.• the manual sucks• Has to look up what app to use, nothing in the box told me.• The seal could of been a little better, it’s not too bad.• it should of came with the cable to charge the battery separate from the cooler• wheels should have been bigger.• cup holders could have been deeper to be more functional.• they don’t sell a case for it.
