Perfect dish for small starters

Beautiful, novel, dinner service but very fragile and easily scratched. Good night last a week of every day use in my house

Bowl was too small

perfect for a small dessert. Maybe 2 ounces. Not for pasta dishes or other entree.

These set of 4 wide rimmed bowls are a nice option for serving small bites. I have used them to serve a ceviche appetizer and ice cream for dessert, as well as many other small plates. The bowl part is small; 3 1/2" (9cm) around and 3/4" (2cm) deep. Think less area than half of a orange. Not a lot of room, so good for small bite courses. The black plates make a nice visual, especially when contrasted with a colorful food, like a blood orange sorbet.They are more sturdy than they look and they go through the dishwasher with no issues. If you like to entertain or just appreciate interesting dishes for your dining table, these are worth a look. Guests seem to feel the same way I do, as they compliment them often.They arrived double boxed, well packed, so very little likelihood of damage from shipping. These are a well made and designed dishware that would also make a nice gift to yourself or others.
