Great for dog hair!
This vacuum cleaner is the best one I have ever owned. I especially wanted it to pick up dog hair off my marble floors, it works like a charm. I bought some extra accessories for it (Miele brand) and it covers more space quicker.

Very powerful and low noise vaccum cleaner.
Highly recommended even though its a bit costly than other low priced vaccums. It has amazing suction power at vert low noise.

Vacuuming performance good - Low quality of plastic parts
The vacuuming performance of this cleaner is commendable; it effectively picks up dirt and debris, making the cleaning process quite efficient. However, I’m disappointed with the durability of its components. Within the first month of use, the plastic holder for the vacuum tube unexpectedly broke. Additionally, the integrated short brush bit also snapped off now, which was a letdown. Given the high price point of this vacuum, I expected more robust and high-quality materials. It’s disheartening to see such issues in a product that’s marketed as German high-end quality.

Blows other vacuum cleaners out of the water
Hands down this is the best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever used! I’ve used Dyson in the past but this blows my last Dyson Animal out of the water. The suction is incredible and the amount of dirt it’s sucked out of my carpet is embarrassing!I did watch various videos and read all the reviews before I purchased. This model seems to be the same spec as the white lotus version ‘total solution’ Miele, but if you buy this version via Amazon you can pay in five interest free instalments. The glossy black is pretty smart too. I would also highly recommend you buy this version or the white ‘Total Solution’ version as they both come with the turbo-brush attachment which you will need to make vacuuming carpets a breeze as it has the roller brush. Honestly wish I’d bought this years ago instead of spending so much money on Dysons which don’t last and aren’t as powerful. The suction on this thing is incredible although the noise isn’t that loud. It’s not light, but probably no heavier than other similar sized cylinder vacuums and for the most part you won’t need to carry it as it’s on wheels, it’s just stairs where you might need to. I can reach half way up my stairs just with the main pipe and half way down. You can tell it’s superb quality, it feels solid, and it’s German made, which gives me confidence, plus Miele is known to be a high quality brand. The vacuum is super easy to put together and very easy to empty, (unlike the Dyson whose clips can be fiddly) with a clear instruction booklet. It’s also bagless and fascinating to see what you collect in the container. It uses a single cyclone system which seems to be far more effective than Dyson’s multi cyclone system (there’s videos online demonstrating this). It has a great self clean mode to regularly clean out the dust filter too and keep the suction strong-every so often you’re meant to take that part out and give it a rinse.I’m super happy with this amazing quality vacuum cleaner and highly recommend it.

Quality German craftsmanship. One of the best bagless vacuums on the market.
I wanted to take the time to share my feedback of this vacuum. To begin, this is very very similar to the Miele Blizzard CX1 Cat & Dog Powerline (red). The only difference I could see with this model was that, it has a larger operating radius and that it weighs slightly more. For some unknow reason after purchasing, the description on the older model has changed and boasts of having the same operating range. The most obvious difference is that its a 2020 model and comes in a stylish Obsidian BLACK where as the 2017 model comes in RED.PRICE-The price is quite expensive especially when you consider it to the older variant (RED) which is averaging around £30-40 cheaper and has very similar (if not the same) features. I found this vacuum to be more expensive than some similar Dyson products however, you cannot compare the two. This vacuum is in a league of its own and the build quality speaks volumes.ANESTHETICS-Obsidian Black - Yes please. This colour with the silver accents goes great in almost any environment. Little details like the Miele logo on the honeycomb side accent compliments the overall design very well. The attachments slot into the base of the vacuum which keeps them safely stored away and out of sight which is clever. The cable is also self winding into the hoover so it's also not in sight when stored away.ERGONOMICS-Very well thought! The vacuum has a handle built into the design which makes picking it up and moving around easy enough. It also has small wheels which allows the vacuum to be freely and effortlessly maneuvered around your vacuuming area. The dust compartment is slightly fidgety to remove but once you've got the knack, it's a breeze. This model incorporates a more comfortable handle and a telescopic tube for better range. The telescopic tube is by far my favourite feature as it can be adjusted from really short to really long. Im 6ft and this has honestly saved me from back pains due to constantly crouching with other vacuums.PERFORMANCE & BUILD-Ridiculously powerful! I've used nothing but the best and most expensive Dysons vacuums my entire life and I thought they were good. My only flaw with Dyson is there quality has dived in the past few years as well as loss of suction. After thorough research, I found Miele have been in the vacuum industry a lot longer and their products are of a durable build.Although the suction performance is powerful, it can be turned down using the knob on the base to suit its environment. The attachments are also of a solid build quality and you hear a thorough click when slotting two parts together.I've attached a picture of the filter after several times vacuuming my entire home and it still looks fairly clean. I haven't needed to use the filter clean button yet, but this should prevent me from needing to wash out the filter as often as in a Dyson.CONS-I really struggled with this as I've never been so happy with a product however, I would like to mention it is slightly heavier than I expected considering its size.Another slight flaw is cleaning of the rotary power brush head. Unlike the Dyson, the rotary device inside the powerbrush cannot be removed and therefore removing hairs can be a pain. Miele has designed a slight groove to slot in a pair of scissors in order to cut the hairs out however, this is alot harder than it looks. Fortunately, you don't have to do this very often.I don't often rate a product 5 out of 5 unless its worthy but this really is. The cons listed above are just recommended improvementa in my opinion but they do not take away from the task of this vacuum. I just wish I'd bought one sooner.DISCLAIMER-I've read alot of reviews on the older variant suggesting the bagless models are not as powerful as the bagged. I believe this to be somewhat true due to how the suction works. I've only ever used BAGLESS and this has been my most powerful vacuum to date in comparison.[Please mark as 'helpful' if the review and pictures provided useful].

It SUCKS (in the best way!)
For context, when I moved into my own place I bought myself a "cheap 'n cheerful" Russel Hobbs handheld cleaner that was great for the first couple of months and then rapidly lost all suction afterwards. It was loud, inefficient and emptying the bagless container makes an awful mess if you're not careful. After looking around at different vacuum cleaner options and reviews, I decided to try the Miele Blizzard CX1 Powerline as the suction, power consumption, portability, ease of use and price all seemed pretty reasonable. It arrived today and I can categorically say, it is the best vacuum cleaner that I've ever used so far!A lot of reviews are correct in saying its difficult to use on carpets though. It sucks so well that it physically lifts the carpet up, so watch out in the corners and edges where the carpet is being held by grips! It is also SIGNIFICANTLY larger than how it appears in the product photos. Either the person used as a model is a giant or something has been done to reduce the size of the unit as its the size of a small suitcase. However, it's also pretty light, quiet, easy to manoeuvre, picks up an obscene amount of dust, is really well designed (apart from the dusting brush attachment not having anywhere obvious to live) and feels incredibly well built. Whilst the less-able might struggle with using it on a regular basis, I think most people shouldn't have any problems with it.Good Points:- Great design.- EXCEPTIONAL suction.- Easy to use.- Lightweight.- Quieter than most vacuums.- Separates dust and solid materials for less of a mess when emptying.- Feels luxurious.Not-so-good Points:- Older/Less-able users might struggle with the sheer power of the unit's suction on carpets, but should be fine on hard surfaces.- It's much larger than expected.- Lifts carpets.- Requires a lot more force on carpets and would probably benefit from rollers, though there's probably a design case against it.Overall:Its early days yet, but personally I believe this is one of the best value-for-money vacuum cleaners available on the market today. Sure, £200+ for a vacuum is quite a lot of money at face value, but in comparison with the cheaper VAX, Shark and other makes, you get a lot more for your hard-earned money with Miele. Definitely worth an investment.

Performs better than any other vacuum I've owned.
After having Dysons for the last ten years, cordless and big ball, after buying the cordless a new battery and spending more time cleaning the hoover than the floor......I bought the blizzard cat and dog after seeing 5* reviews.Likes are very long cord so I can plug in the kitchen and reach most of the floors downstairs. Ease of attachment changes and their use. The carpet one just glides over effortlessly, I was fairly disgusted how much dirt was hiding in my rug. The hard floor tool is the same, I put the brush heads down and it glides over getting loose dog hairs up and trapping them in the cleaner. The suction regulator is just right too, easy to understand and does make a difference when cleaning the barrier mats in the hall and kitchen without lifting them off the floor.Emptying is very easy and so far, the dirt has gone right in the bin without me having to help it along. Its light enough for me to pick up and station it into different rooms. It's very quiet compared to my Dyson. My only slight niggle is the small brush that is built into the handle. I've only managed to actually get that moved once. I dare say it would get easier in time but I find it hard to use and I'll purchase a separate one.Update. The rollers no longer spin and it cuts out after 5 minutes. I was going to purchase a new battery but I don't believe it would fix its many faults . Ive spent more time trying to fix this than actually vacuum with it. I've gone back to my corded Miele . This machine has put me off cordless vacuums .

You can't beat this Hoover
I've always owned the best cat and dog Hoover's money can buy basically because I'm house proud .I had Meile years back , when it came to buying a new Hoover I went with the best Dyson then Shark . Now back with this beauty and will be sticking to it .. No question about the standard of quality .. the excellent Hoover does everything they say . My carpets like new again . It's so easy to use , empty and keep clean. Its strong suction and extra Turbo head leaves your carpets looking brand new. Some people will find it's too hard using it at full power because of the suction , in the case just turn the suction down until it suits your needs .I highly recommend this Hoover to anyone , well worth the money
