Super Cute!
These worked perfectly for my faux succulents! MIght get expensive if trying to use with large planters, but I've done 6 little planters so far and just looking at the containers, you can barely tell any have been used.

Great Top Dressing For Succulent Garden
I was honestly impressed with how far this container went when used as a top-dressing for my different succulent pots. Because I was nervous about the weight of the beads (not like Leca - noticeably heavy), I opted to use these as decorative gravel on my succulents with thicker and less squishable root systems. When used to cover pot soil such that it’s only 2-3 layers of pearls thick, I noticed no ill effects on my plants and was pleased to see how much use I got out of such a compact container.I loved the size of these clay balls because they were able to work well with a variety of different (indoor) succulent sizes. They also provided a nice visual contrast to the plants themselves and were helpful for my photography work since they isolate the body of the plant quite nicely.I’ve also begun to plant some of my extremely low water succulents/cacti (ex: Lithops) in this substrate, sprinkling in just a tad of succulent potting mix to allow for some water retention and have had great success. If you also own Lithops, I would even say this product is a must-have since it is excellent at preventing common issues of overwatering or excessive water retention.

Not traditional LECA, but super cute & good quality
I purchased the blue and grey clay/ceramicsite pebbles. Shown are pictures with what they look like rinsed off and in water, they are pretty small and uniform… Just what I wanted! None were cracked that I could see and I rinsed both throughly. V sturdy little pellets!!These are a type of ceramic, but that’s totally okay. They don’t retain water as well as regular LECA, but I wanted something that could glam up the regular stuff. I’ve added some pics showing what happens after a couple days with only ceramic balls. I’ve also included a picture of the final version of my project, blending more traditional LECA and these pebbles (perfect!).It’s all about expectations - don’t use this as a substrate to wick/retain water as well as LECA. They immediately sink when you put them in water - which may be a good thing for placing on top of LECA while it’s still absorbing water/in the floating stage. But either way, these ceramic-blend balls are high quality and pair well with LECA. I’m quite happy with the purchase. ❤️

Not good for hydroponic gardening!
I bought these for a pop of color instead of using the typical brown leca. Bad idea!! My sweet arrowhead plant was VERY unhappy and became droopy and sad looking. I thought maybe it just needed time to readjust to its new home. But after nearly 3 days I decided to move it back to its original home. Hopefully it doesn’t die. ☠️

Pretty dusty and very small amount
I thought this would make the perfect substrate for an aquarium, because it sinks (unlike leca) and comes in a bunch of colors. When I got it though, I got 3 orders and even with thorough rinsing they clouded up my tank and the containers were small and 3 of them wasn't enough to cover the bottom of a 20 gallon tall tank with more than 1-2 layers of clay balls. I will order more, to complete the inch-deep amount of bottom I want for my plants in the aquarium, but it was really disappointing how few came in the containers, One container probably couldn't even fill a 6-inch pot, so I'm glad I didn't need this for actual plants because I would run out too quicklyThey are beautiful, though, and are NOT black with water but a deep grey, which I greatly prefer. They will look great once the tank is complete and I add little blue shrimps.

Great Drainage Media for the Bottom of Plant Pots
Bought these to fill up the bottom of some plant pots to help with draining excess water and they've been doing the job perfectly.I ended up also getting some small metal mesh circles to go across the drainage holes of my pots to prevent the clay pebbles from falling out. Not sure this was actually necessary but 100 of those mesh circles was like $5, so it was worth the peace of mind when I'm moving my plants around in the future.

Great quality
I was curious how many lbs came in the container. After measuring twice, I confirm you get 964grams which is 2.1lbs of little grey clay pebbles. These are super cute and will make a great soil topper or for starting new cuttings in water. Buy them!

Not as big a container than I thought
Rethinking cost for amount, but they do look nice and cleaner than soil
