Great for Filipino Martial Arts (FMA)
Great gloves for those who practice Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) /Eskrima/Kali/Arnis. Excellent for sparring in fighting for both WEKAF style tournaments and also with limited protection “Dog Brothers” style. Great against rattan sticks and handling with them, after broken in, are great. Also great for knife sparring.

Nearly Unusable
Pros: - Very tough; you can get whacked in the hand with no harm to your hand while wearing these. - visually they appear as advertisedCons: - Nearly impossible to grip anything while wearing them. I have large hands, and bought the large size, and the gloves appear to fit perfectly. However when I try to grip things, I just can't get a good grip. I have pretty strong hands, but the width of the fingers just makes getting a good grip next to impossible. Tried one-handed and two-handed hilts. Doesn't matter. - Chafing! You have to wear gloves inside these gloves in order to avoid rapidly chafing on the tops of your finger joints. I'm sure you'd eventually develop thick calluses on each finger joint if you went without extra protection, but after only a short session with these, my hands were pretty raw - The wrist laces are useless. The little spring/plastic piece they use to keep the laces tight gives up after even a small amount of tension. Better off remove it and having someone else tie the laces.Overall, I would not recommend unless perhaps if what you're gripping has a wider than normal girth.
