Open World Advanced Student's Book with Answers: with Cambridge One Digital Pack

I was very happy with Open World First and eagerly awaited this book to use with my advanced students. What a disappointment. To add to the previous reviewer - I got the printed book in December and the code was inactive - so that was a book with no audio. There are no printed answers in the book - they are supposed to be in the Digital Pack - what is the point of separating the versions "with" and "without" answers then? Then there was a message on CambridgeOne that the Digital Pack will be ready in March, then in April, then in May - I am a patient person and decided to wait - but today when I checked it says that the "title has been removed". And finally if anybody like me hoped for a great Speaking / Writing bank (similar to Open World First) - THERE IS NO WRITING BANK AND NO SPEAKING BANK. Just some notes in the units how "recommendedly" do it, which are so basic that I have no words. So, the conclusion, this book is a complete waste of money.

I purchased the student’s book and teacher’s book on 19 March and registered with Cambridge. Both books come with activation codes to access the digital packs. Neither activation code worked so I am unable to access the audio recordings and whatever other resources are available. These are pretty crucial to be able to use the materials for teaching. I have contacted Cambridge 3 times about this and supplied photos of the books and activation codes but they have not replied. The books are useless without this access and they do not come with CDs. The other issue is that even if the activation codes do work, they expire after 18 months, effectively making the books redundant then. This is outrageous given their prices. At least if there were CDs, purchasers would have something they owned.
