Cole Haan Women's Abbot Ankle Boot

The leather is very nice. It's a nice bootie, just looks a little weird around the ankle, it's too wide or something. They would be fine with boot or bell bottoms. Personally, I have a closet full of booties and I prefer the flexibility to wear them with just about anything. If my closet wasn't full of black boots and suede booties, I might consider keeping them, which honestly would be foolish. There are enough choices to find what works best for you. If I wore these with a skirt or skinny pants I'd find myself trying to adjust something b/c the ankle part is too wide. Also the toe box is round and high. I simply don't care for the style very much. Cole Hahn makes some very nice products though and I think these booties are worth a go round. Amazon makes returns easy, just hurry the policies have changed. In fact I have one item that must be returned the same day delivered. That's just crazy. Bottom thought, try them, they are well made and the leather is quality. Just b/c they don't work for me, doesn't mean anything in terms of style for anyone else. :-)

I was really was hoping these would fit the way I needed them to. I have extremely high arches. The top of the boot was rubbing the tops of my feet so I had to return them. They fit perfectly in every other way and are beautiful.

The is a lovely looking boot as well as a good quality and price! I take an 8 1/2 shoe normally and bought this in the same size. It fits me well with socks on and with a little room to spare. I tried them on when I received them AND I went flying across my stone floor - luckily I grabbed on to my banister before falling. This said I am going to return this pair for a different style, still Cole Haan though! I like the style of this boot and it feels comfortable on but the traction is not good at all! For me it’s not too practical but it’s a great boot that fits as expected and the price is very reasonable for Cole Haan. I have the ‘Paulina’ style in the same size and it doesn’t slip while walking!

Had my eye on these for a long time, and when the stormcloud gray ones became available in my size, I grabbed them. I was a little concerned about sizing from some of the reviews, but went with my normal size. They fit great! I have a slightly wide foot and a bunion, but can normally wear medium widths. I have plenty of room here to wiggle my toes and/or wear an average sock if I chose to. Toes are not pointy, so I am comfortable in them. I might have been able to go a half size smaller, but think my normal size would still be more comfortable. There is a nice cushion in the footbed under the ball of my foot and the heel, but not a huge of amount of arch support. I wore these all day first time out, and was completely comfortable all through the day. Very happy with my purchase, except that it took an unusually long time to receive them. Only a sale price could have made it better :)

These shoes are beautiful.the size is a problem for me. I have other boots that are the size i ordered and they fit fine. the instep is so tight that by the time i get my foot in, my socks are pushed so far up my foot that i can't straighten my toes. They seem to be plenty long (after i finally get my toes stretched out)...can't decide if I need to go up a size or change to wide width.If you've never thought you had a high instep...buy your usual size...otherwise you'll have a conundrum about what size to order.I will look for a store where i can go and try on this brand, so that I can choose.

I love, love, love these booties. They look great with everything. The heel height is perfect...not to tall but still add a little height. I had a TBI years ago and can't wear heels due to balance issues...however I can do these no problem.I am a consistent 7.5 when it comes to Cole Haan shoes, but order a size 8 when it comes to their boots. This time the 8 was way too big so they went back. I decided I didn't want the Cremini color as I was concerned about any stains from wearing them in rainy areas. I opted for the gray, but Amazon didn't have a 7.5 in that color. I got them from the Cole Haan website and they definitely fit true to my normal 7.5. I can't recommend these highly enough.

You get what you pay for, and when you get this caliber of design, quality, and craftsmanship, at a great discount, you have hit the jackpot. Beautifully designed and crafted. The color was lighter than the photos, decidedly a light gray where I had expected a darker blue/gray, a bit disappointed for that. BUT, absolutely worth the original price to those who can afford it. Now I just need to whittle myself down enough for some skinny jeans. These are fabulous.

I have never owned a pair of Cole Haan shoes before so I can't speak to the quality as it relates to other Cole Haan products. That being said, I'm a big fan of these shoes. The acorn color is a very vibrant color compared to my rather muted shoe collection up to now so that's taken a bit of getting used to. The leather is beautiful. The fit started out snug towards my toes, which was never uncomfortable but had me worried about keeping the shoes, but stretched out to accomodate my feet in a matter of days. The sole portion has been perfection since I first slipped them on and my feet are very happy.

Great fit and colour!Only gave 4 stars since they had first shipped me only the left shoe. Guess nobody actually checks if both boots are in the box...
