Kaytee Perfect Chews for Rats (4 Pack)

Most any rodent that chews will like this. Depending on how they attack it, they may get it off the center stick pretty fast, but they can still enjoy chewing the pieces or you can suspend then from a wire. Only 4 stars as I wish the pieces were not dyed. The dyes can stain fur and, if you need to wash it, it will look terrible. Rodents could care less about the color, they just do that for the humans who buy them- makes it cost more & stain. It is not real big & will not last long w/ aggressive chewers. It lasts pretty well for mice, hamsters & guinea pigs.

My rats really loved these chews, so as far as happiness goes they're a 5/5, my only worry with them is that when they get chewed on they break apart into sharp splinters. This probably won't be a problem for rats or most rodents since they're so smart about spitting out things that aren't food, but I personally prefer to give my rats soft wood that can't potentially give them little cuts on their mouths if they're not careful. I'm a bit of a paranoid parent, but I thought the info might help other helicopter rat-parents!

My rats hardly pay any attention to these. I'll inspect them thoroughly on the next cage cleaning and update this with what I find, but so far I haven't noticed them chewing on them. The price on these fluctuates a bit but I got them for a little under $10 for a pack of 4. I took off a star because they're a little too boring, so the value may not be the best, but they're still good chews if your animal likes this kind of thing! Probably won't get again, but hey, it's worth a try!

These are simple little chew toys, just hook them to the top of the cage, but my rats just love to chew on them. I love the multi-pack of them since I have several rats and they go through them fairly quickly.

It's like they know...the second I hung one in my rats cage they both ran up to it and got to nibbling on it right away. So much so I felt like I should add a second one. They absolutely love it. The pieces will be chewed off and thrown around their cage but have no doubt the rats will still hold the pieces to chew on them. :)

Just got delivered and there was only TWO. Paint comes right off on my fingers too. Not safe for pets and waste of money. Do not order.

My rats really like these, and they last a long time. I bought a four pack when I first got my little mischief, and they are still using it four months later. It stays out of their urine, so it's able to be kept until they've used it all up.

I liked the idea of these but my rats want nothing to do with them. And it’s not that they don’t like chewing things, because I have a variety of things in their cage they enjoy eating/chewing on, they just will not touch these things.
