Green Lantern Vol. 1: Sinestro (The New 52)

i love absolutely love collecting DC trade paperbacks or graphic novels. This one here is what happens after the events of the green lantern civil war/ corp wars takes place. The starting of green lantern new 52s run. sinestro is a green lantern again by accident, hal jordan was banished by unforunate circumstances in the previous book. Interesting dynamic between sinestro and hal in this one as they have to work together, and there is a grounded awkward love story btw carol ferris and hal. Art work is beautiful , font easy to read, fun story, perfect fit. i wish this book had more text/ dialogue , more story overall, but their saving it for volume2 and 3.

When I think about my top most favorite villains and I don't include Sinestro, that's not possible. He is bad ass and present every bit of a challenge to Hal. I would dare to say that Hal v Sinestro makes better Hero-Villain duo than Batman-Joker.World's Greatest GL is back and his name is Sinestro. WAIT. WHAT? Sinestro wearing emerald color, fighting against Yellow and asking help from Hal.. that all happened in one single book. Geoff Johns has done another great writing stuff.Ever since I read Green Lantern Rebirth by Geoff Johns, I have become a huge fan of Hal Jordan and after reading Godhead just recently, starting GL New 52 was the top most priority.All the GL comic books I have read, Hal always overshadowed all other Lanterns. Here, the story is different. Sinestro takes all the lime light and leaves only a little for Hal.According to my experience I highly recommend all comic books written by Jeoff Johns.

This volume was very fun to read. The drawings are very nice, and the plot is exciting. I was new to green lantern and highly enjoyed it.
