Hamburger Patty Paper Sheets, Wax Paper Squares 250 pcs 6" x 6" Non-Stick

I use them to wrap homemade candies, separate cold cuts etc.

After reading reviews, I purchased a small hamburger press and ordered the wax paper squares. I finally am restocking my freezer and used these for the first time this week. They work perfectly for my needs.I used one sheet on the bottom of the press, placed the "ball" of ground meat on it. Put another sheet on top of that and pressed the patty. No problem at all with the patty coming out of the press. I froze the patties on a flat pan and then moved them into freezer bags. I left both the top and bottom papers on the patties so they wouldn't stick together. Just to be sure, I checked them the other day and there was no problem with separating them for use. I tried peeling one of the papers off of the patty to see if it would stick and be difficult.....it came off with no problem.For this first attempt, I made 1/4 pound patties. Later, I may do 1/3 or 1/2 pound patties.......I did a couple of large ones to experiment. My thinking is that if I am out of bulk ground meat, I can just thaw out four of the 1/4 pound patties and brown it....that gives me an option. :) After doing about half of my meat, I had an idea and diced some onions....mixed the onions with the ground meat before making the patties. This will make it faster and easier when I use the meat. I use onions in almost everything, so I'll be ahead on prep time!I'll definitely be ordering more of these wax paper squares.

I was worried because some reviewers of these size wax sheets said they were more papery-y, or only waxed well on one side but these feel just like regular roll wax paper I've always bought in the long box in the grocery store. I use these to cover food when microwaving it because I don't like using plastic wrap for that-- heaven only knows what awful chemistry happens when plastic wrap gets heated up and lays in contact with the food.These are perfect laid across a soup bowl or plate to contain eruptions of food allover the inside of the microwave, and then keep the food warm a little longer when you take it out.True as someone else said that it doesn't come in a dispenser type package but I just cut the front cover in half, exposing half the sheet, and they slide out one by one perfectly.

Does exactly as its supposed to. Keeps our burgers separated for easy access from the freezer. I also use these to keep my homemade garlic bread slices separated. Great product well packaged in a recloseable box. Each sheet is easy to remove but some stick to the next sheet. Not a major issue, simple to separate. This is my second purchase and I am very pleased. I hope Amazon continues to sell them. Very reasonably priced. My only issue is with the Amazon delivery person that tossed the package into our planter, when a covered porch was available. This is not a negative for the product so I leave 5 stars.
