My dog is a 125lb XL pitbull with a mouth the size of the Gulf of Mexico and he loves these more than any other tennis ball but they like to pop at the seam pretty easily.I started drilling about 4 or 5 - 1\8" holes spaced evenly on each end of the ball away from the seam. If you drill too close to the seam, it won't work as good.So far the balls are now lasting about 2 weeks or longer vs 2-3 days because the holes are allowing the air to escape when he chomps down on the ball which appears to take the pressure off of the seam. The tennis ball is still bouncing pretty good too since the air doesn't escape too fast. Picture is of a ball that popped at the seam within a few days before I started drilling the holes, red dots are about where I drill holes.I also tried 1/4" holes but the rubber eventually started splitting/tearing where the holes were drilled and it couldn't maintain a good bounce.Hope this helps others with power chewers!

these are great balls for your dog. they are certainly TUFF and last much longer than a regular tennis ball. my Shiba always tears through the cheap balls I pick up at the store, but these last for months. of course, play regularity and chewing strength of each dog will very, but these are the only kinds of throwing balls I will buy for him.

Our Malinois can destroy anything in minutes. These have absolutely lasted infinitely longer than typical tennis balls.

My dog loves tennis balls, but especially these because of the smaller size.They do crack in half a little sooner because she carries them around and bites on them the whole time. The inside ball will crack in half but the tennis ball cover stays intact, which still makes it fun to play with.

Great product for my friend's tennis ball obsessed shepherd. He is always playing with it and it is still going strong. Super great because we don't have the choking hazard we would have for a normal sized ball him being bigger.

I love the big size and the fact that my mastiff can't chew through them in one day. She loves them too! They are less expensive than the pet stores here and she will get months of fetch out of them!

This is the second order of these balls. Our GSD chewed on them so hard that the ball broke in half inside the covering thus it no longer bounces. I wish they were in one piece not two. I would not purchase this product again.

Standard tennis balls have two problems for playing fetch with my 45Lb puppy: First, if left where he can get at one, he will rip off all of the fuzz and then shred the ball in about two days. Second, tennis balls are great for rolling through our fence or getting into small places where the dog can't get them out. These balls are large enough so that the pooch can't get a really crushing grip on them and although he will still eventually destroy them, it will take much longer. Also they don't roll through the fence or into tight places nearly as often. Highly recommended.

Good size ball for my dog, but there are two problems1. The yellow fluff comes off really easily so I had to cut it off, so he wouldn’t swallow it.2. Even though my dog is not very strong, sure he could still rip the ball in two piecesI bought them because these balls are supposed to be non-toxic for dogs as opposed to tennis balls.Well, definitely not buying again

My dachshund loves swimming for balls and these are the perfect size for her mouth. More durable against cracking than every other dog-specific tennis-type ball we have tried.

Compré una maquinita lanzadora de pelotas de 1.5" ifetch y las pelotas que venian incluidas eran muy blandas, mi pithuahua las rompió luego luego. Compré otra marca mas barata pero salieron peor. Estas le han durado bastante bien, es más difícil que las despeluche o las deforme que era lo que evitaba el buen funcionamiento del lanzador de pelotas. Vienen 3 paquetitos con dos pelotas cada uno (6 en total) así que tengo muy bien guardadas las otras :)
