Protect Me Infant Baby Doppler - Same Day Dispatch! (GREEN)

As my title line says although it picks up my heart beat I'm finding it hard to pick up a baby beat 12 weeks but had to locate baby beat we had our 1st scan yesterday baby's heart beat was nice steady rhythm but might be a little bit early we will try again in a week or two.

Received this product over the weekend and so far impressions are great. Before I get into review, there are a few questions I struggled to find answers for that I hope to answer here:1 - Does this have a speaker? No. There are others on amazon that do have a built in speaker, but this one does not. You always have to use headphones (headphones are provided)2 - Does it come with the gel? No. You need to buy this seperately, you can find it on amazon though pretty cheaply.3 - Does it come with batteries? No. You will need 2 AAA batteries.Unpacking this item it doesn't feel like a super premium product, very light weight smooth plastic, it does feel a little bit like a McDonalds happy meal toy, but the proof is in the pudding really. I used this with my partner and was able to find babies heart beat (19 weeks) loud and clear within a few seconds of scanning about. Really magical to be able to hear the heartbeat and great piece of mind for mum. Not sure on the accuracy of the LED read out for heartrate, but it does like it would be fairly close, just give it a few seconds to settle as you scan around. You need to hold on the heartbeat for a good 10 seconds for the rate to balance out but that's easy enough.Overall 100% recommend, especially for first time parents, really fun to be able to listen in on baby.
