One Subject Notebook, Patterns of Nature, 80 sheets, Assorted 4 Pack (2493)

I purchased one of these notebooks from a local store a few years ago. The cover and back cover are sturdy and firm like cardboard and the pages are thicker than a regular notebook. I purchases these hoping to get four more of the same kind of notebook I already have. These are NOT the same. Although they are the same company and my notebook looks exactly like one shown, they are not the same material. Mine was made in 2011. These were made in 2010. The covers are flimsy and the pages are thin. It is basically a normal spiral notebook you can buy for 25 cents during back to school sales. The only exception is it has a decorative cover and cost a lot more. The binding is made of plastic, not metal so that makes them even flimsier. I will most likely be returning them.

I hate to say it, but these items were not as nice as I had hoped they would be. They have the designs pictured, but are just not quite as pretty as in the pictures. This particular part of the set is also not as well made as plain ones that you would find at the store. I can't say that I wouldn't recommend them...I would just not expect that they will be as nice as some others might be.

I received four notebooks, all the same, and not the same as any of any of the notebooks pictured. I had previously purchased the notebooks pictured and loved them. I would not have bought the ones I received, but it is not worth sending them back.

I originally bought one of these notebooks at Kmart for at least $4.50. These aren't necessarily high quality notebooks; they aren't sturdy. You can pick it up and it will wiggle and flop, unlike, say, Five Star or Yoobi notebooks, but they're bright and cheerful with their pastel colors and weird cover texture and more lightweight than other heavier duty notebooks. Very compact and cute. The paper quality is also fantastic. Even Five Star paper bleeds sometimes with G2 Pilots, but not these. And as a lefty, it's sort of agonizing when paper is too thin to absorb ink while I'm trying to write fast notes, and I smear everything everywhere, so I tend to try new stuff. These don't smear. Love it. I received four different notebooks, all with covers matching the photo.

Pretty colors, even the spiral binding is colorful.
