Purchased as a backup for our high quality sauté pans. Non stick surface is over a stainless steel body with a very good heavy bottom. You have to install the handle yourself which is not installed when you receive the pan. It is attached with a single threaded screw that goes into a bracket spot welded to the outside of the pan. Once assembled it does seem to be sturdy. Although I prefer a handle riveted through the body of the pan this arrangement does make it very easy to clean.UpdateWe've now used this pan for 2 weeks. It has proved to be excellent. Even heating and no warping. Handle seems fine, nice and tight. Upgraded rating to 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. I have been cooking on this pan for two weeks now and throwing everything I could at it. I am not a big fan of non-stick pans but decided to try this one just to see if the claims were true. I was surprised to say the least. I am using an induction stove and just getting the hang of it so I am warry of the types of pots/pans that can be used. The thickness of the bottom provided quick heat up and even distribution of the heat. I overloaded a batch of Italian sausage to see if the cooking was even. Since the ​sausage is fatty in nature, I used almost no olive oil in the pan and there was absolutely no sticking. Clean up was almost too easy with a rinse in warm water. The real test came with scrambled eggs and a tiny pat of butter on the pan just for flavor. The eggs cooked up nicely and evenly in a timely manner. The eggs were done to perfection and slipped right out of the pan onto the plate. Clean up, again, was warm water! I would recommend this pan to anyone who likes a sturdy, well-balanced cooking vessel.

I recieved this pan in one day (love Prime!) And immediately used it right after opening the box. Lightweight and cooks evenly. My oldest son is finally cooking for himself, and says that this is his favorite pan! So far I have been really impressed!

I was at that place where you know you need to throw away your old nonstick pan & look for a new one & I usually shop locally so I can see how they feel in person. This pan popped up when I was surfing Amazon & the price was good, plus it had its own lid, so I thought I'd take a chance. I am so glad I did, it has considerable heft to it and is much better at evenly distributing heat to what I'm cooking.I appreciate having a tight-fitting lid. I have a "universal" lid that will fit multiple sized pans, & it's better than no lid at all, but having a dedicated lid for a pan is better.I am glad I bought this & would buy it again.

We bought this frying pan before, 2 of them, in fact. They lasted for a year with good care. When we bought it again, the handle attachment came deformed. The desire to replace it disappeared. I do not recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love these pans! They are solid and well built - much better quality than one would expect for the price. They cook nicely with quick heating and even distribution. I would go so far as to say this set outperforms more expensive non-stick pans I have tried.I have been using these pans for a couple of weeks now without any oil or cooking spray (I do believe neither are necessary, but I would think cooking spray may actually damage the pan). Cleanup is a breeze with this set. Just a soft brush or cloth or silicone pad will easily do the trick. No scrubbing or scouring anymore! Hallelujah!The other thing I love about these pans is that they are nickel and PFOA-free! Who wants toxins leaching into their food? Certainly not me.You really can't go wrong with these pans. Homichef got non-stick cookware right!

This skillet was just what I was looking for to use with my new ceramic cooktop! It seems to be quality stainless steel. It’s heavy and it’s beautiful as well. The bottom is truly flat, which is difficult to find, and it cooks very evenly. The non stick surface works perfectly and it cleans up easily. Hoping it lasts well. Very happy with it so far and a good price for this pan when I bought it. It was at least $10-15 cheaper than anything I could find locally that was even close to the same quality.

This pan did not have good longevity. It developed small tears in the nonstick coating and then became so exposed that the nonstick pan became a stick pan. I can understand how this could happen over time, but it took less than a year for the damage to take place.

Very pleased with the frying pan out of the box, so neat that it comes with a little screw driver and tape to attach the handle.Looks like it costs much more than it is with a lid, and so far it seems to be good nonstick, will see how long it lasts.Very happy with it an the seller.

Bonito diseño, buen material y me aguantó muy bien un olvido de que se me quemó la comida por mucho tiempo. Lo uso para que en casa mi niño vaya deshaciendose de los metales pesados en especial el níquel un 10 muy recomendable!

This is a good weight, size and depth, the lid fits well, it is deep enough to cook eg bolognaise sauce or similar in. The handle is easy to hold and doesn't heat up.You have to put the handle of the pan and the knob of the lid on yourself when it arrives BUT *you are given a screwdriver to do it with!*The non-stick inner coating is holding up well.I have been very pleased with this. Especially for the money.

Awesome pan for cooking. Great heat distribution. Not too heaving. Great size for the cooking I do.
