I liked the design and look of the fan so much that I reordered the item thrice after being failed every time before I lastly asked for the refund third time.First time- it was making sound and hi speed air was very poor. So returned itSecond time- After working for a day it started giving bad smell and later stopped.Third time- the led bulbs were not working so had to purchase them myself. Now this time the fan worked just for an hour and stopped with a very bad smell.Thanks to Amazon for hassle free replacement & refund every time but the experience with Hunter fan was real pathetic.Disclaimer: I paid the installation/ deinstall and packaging charge all the three times.

Very nice ceiling fan. Does make a little sound when operating, but not significant. The white side of the blades had some brown paint stuck on it which came from the blade edge finish. Good value overall.

I'm so pleased with this fan I'm purchasing number 5 of the same item right now. Excellent build quality. Excellent finish. Very heavy and very solid construction. All parts are included to remove the included light kit and install as fan-only (that is how I installed all of mine so I cannot comment on the quality and coverage of light). Hunter has thought of everything in their design which contributes to two critical points for me: 1) Perfect balance at every speed right out of the box. It's nice they included a mini blade balancing kit and even nicer that I have not had to use a single one of them! 2) Absolutely dead quiet. Not a trace of electrical/motor hum or AC buzzing. The only sound is air movement when used at high speed, which of course one would expect. Also note that the optional downrods are a perfect color and sheen/texture match for the fan unit. I'll never go back to big-box store brands when they cost more and are of very poor quality compared to these. You will spend a little more time installing these units for the very reason I believe they are well balanced and totally quiet. For example; consider the rubber bushings for each blade mounting bolt (15) which isolates the motor from blade movement. Quality engineering in so many regards pays off. Description details are 100% accurate. If you don't like this color scheme look at the other choices to choose from. I've seen a number of comments questioning use on vaulted ceilings. These so ship with a heavy duty ceiling bracket that is designed to support flush or tilted ceiling installations. Of course fairly steep angles will require longer downrods than the 2 lengths Hunter ships in the box to clear the ceiling pitch in your application.

Great fan for the price. In my bedroom and I'm happy. Good blow on the fan. Just not as great as the last one. I bought.

We used this unit to replace a import Hunter that we installed in the very early 1990's. With the other fan the bearing was starting to make a little noise.....but over all it was still in fine shape for literally running non-stop for all those years. . This fan has a bit smaller motor inside ...but comes with a life time warranty. Big plus! It also seems to move more air on high...even being the same size.... but the middle and low speeds seem to be slower than the other fan..... We were able to keep our old light kit...as this one comes with a light ....but it only works with 2 small led lights that are included. We didn't feel comfortable putting 2 standard sized led bulbs in the new housing and liked our old light better. It is easily adapted to use other light kits and seems easy to install in areas that already have had a fan. One other note...if you have wired your fan & light with a always hot wire for keeping the fan running while the light is controlled by the wall switch...this is w very easy to wire unit! Nice unit for the money and good warranty.
